Idea for an Oddworld Inhabitants Game
 

Since this forum is linked onto the official site, it might be possible for the actual game designers to come through here, maybe. So I thought I'd add the idea I had for a game, and whether or not you think it'd be cool would maybe convence the designers to make it or not. Also I thought this would just be a cool idea.
If there was a game for xbox, or maybe the computer, that stared: Big Mask! It could show his story, and show how he became so mighty and where he got all his magic. The game designers could really do something cool with that...being the creative people they are. I think a game about Big Mask's story would be cool. Anybody else think so?

I think that is an interesting idea. although they may just have it be a backstory for something.

Sounds interesting! Also, the developers or at least some of the Oddworld "Inhabitants" used to visit and post here in General Discussion offering nuggets of information and wisdom, etc. One of them was actually Alf himself, seemingly the same individual who answered fan mail on the website! :)

I expect if an Oddworld Inhabitants worker signed up here, and they got found out, everyone would probably start PMing them like mad and replying to their posts hundreds of times saying "Oh my god, we love you!!!"
But an undercover person would be funny, and they only told the main people of OWF who they were, like Xav and Max, and don't forget Peter! :p

Haha, Jodan Boi, your right. I know I'd be messaging them like crazy! Wait if one of them was about to reveal there identity...I did not say that...:)

Hmm, Al, they might still "visit" just not say anything, and maybe soonly one of them will say something. But even if they just come by I am hoping they'll see this thread and note that other fans took interest in the idea.

They are very busy people at OWI, they're working on their film at the moment, so I don't know if they'd get time to vist the OWF.

maybe they check it right before they go to bed. Now watch, they'll be checking this thread and say to themselves, "Oh my gosh these people are idiots. I check the forums in the morning..."

However, I am sure they are very busy with working on the movies and such. But it still makes you wonder.

You never know, Lorne could actually be a member, one of those that register and never post.

No, I don't think Lorne is Alcar, because Alcar is called Peter!

Peter could just be a coverup.
I was thinking more along the lines of Splat being Lorne Lanning.
And watch: Splat just read that and he's like DAMN THEY FIGURED ME OUT!

No, Splat wouldn't be Lorne, I think if Lorne joined he wouldn't post, he could get found out with his knowledge of Oddworld, unless he acted stupidly noobish, but he wouldn't wanna piss any fans off.

But then again, he may be testing the true fans of oddworld. Seeing which ones are rotten and need to be picked... or squashed.

Or maybe he has multiple accounts so he can act like more than one person.

Anyway, interesting idea. Big Face growing up, and maybe we can finally learn whether he had buck teeth or not! But I'm pretty sure we should be able to figure out on how Big Face was able to resist the temptation to becoming a hero of Mudokons.

Maybe he was the hero of the mudokons on another section of Oddworld, or maybe he was just too lazy to be the hero. Who knows? But it would be interesting to find out.

I really do like Big-Face as a character. I've always found him interesting and I think he's just plain cool. I would love to see his origins and how he became so powerful and stuff like that. I'd also like to see him without his mask. I have no life but if a game was made involving Big-Face as the protaganist...I would buy it.

A new Oddworld game would be a miracle for the PC! But still if they made the game and it was for 360 I'd still get it, even if I don't have a 360, but I'd never get a chance to play the damn thing! But OWI will be making no more games till Citizen Siege is finished, damn you!

Damn. 360. And I just got an Xbox (PERIOD!) Rawr. Oddworld just convert to the PC again. Or if not just stay with the xbox!

Yes. or make it so good that you could either play it on the 360 or the regular without having to buy two different disks.
