I am finaly getting the last of the oddworld games that I don't already own.

Albino Slig was my connections to the oddworld gaming. I have only one game right now (AE)...which I am almost finished with. Though I have already beaten it at Albino's house. I helped him beat: Munch's Oddessy, Abe's Oddesy, Abe's Exoduss and Stranger's Wrath. Now I am going to get them all for my own...soonly (Christmas probably). I will get to finaly see the parts I missed (that Albino beat while I was gone) and the reason for this thread was: is there any advice I could use firsthand before re-playing them? Anything that you all would like to share about them?

Taytay, this should not be fan fiction section. It should, in fact, not really be in any forum at all. Mayhaps the general oddworld discussion, but I dunno.

Please refrain from wasting Moderator's and/or administrators time by posting this in the correct area.

Don't feel bad, though. You haven't gotten used to OWF yet. It happens.

Notified and forgiven'd!

This belongs in GD. It should be moved.

Indeed.
Try reading the descriptions of forums before you post in them. Fancorner is for fanfiction and fanart.

You'll enjoy the games a lot Tay tay, at least now you can get through them properly, and you'll see the whole story and levels, but can you actually get your hands on Oddworld Adventures 1 and 2? That's my target, I need Oddworld Adventures 1 and MO for the GBA.

my advise:
don't play AE before finishing AO
AO is soooo frustrating when you have tasted the joy of quicksave

Jordan 12-14-2006 12:15 PM

Lol it's pretty evil that is, also you'll get to see the story in the right order!

I agree. You'll have an easier time finishing AO if you don't get used to the quicksave feature. Also, the story won't make much sense out of order.

unless of course you decide to be a spoil-sport and watch the whole story on the internet and then play the games...
Or watch the MO begining video....

Jordan 12-15-2006 11:41 AM

The MO backstory is crap, it only shows a couple of movies, it sucks! :)

snuzi 12-15-2006 12:03 PM

Yeah, it does. It's better to just play the games in order.

aaj111 12-15-2006 12:43 PM

I'd just rent them, But the only one I can find is SW. The ones that I'll actually want to buy is Munch and Abe games.

Taytay 12-15-2006 03:33 PM

I have no intention of getting Abe adventures, for then I'd have to get a gamboy and a playstation one. Which I am not, I am pretty sure an XBOX is all Im wanting game system-wise. I forgot that AO had no quicksave feature. Rawr. MO is at my gamestop for like 7 bucks! Right on to that!

Also, sorry I didn't mean to post this in the wrong section.

snuzi 12-15-2006 03:48 PM

It's alright, Taytay. We all make mistakes :)
