i was wondering if theer is a way to buy, download whatever the Oddworld Bonus DVD. I know it was only shipped with Stranger's Wrath for a limited time but im hoping.

The seller only ships to the U.S., but if you ask nicely maybe someone in the U.S. would be willing to forward it to you.

Quite often sellers only tick US because they don't consider that anyone else in the world would bid - if you ask they'll often reconsider.

Like that guy back in 2003 who decided to post to Australia solely because we were helping out in Iraq. Which would be about the only good thing to come of that...

It sucks that they made so little of these bonus discs and only releasing them in the US. I hope someone uploads the bonus content on YT or something soon for those who don't have the disc.

well ive only seen one upload and that is still on isohunt: www.isohunt.com but there are no seeders any more. thats what ive been talking about... im at 4.18 gb of 4.32 and its not moving damn it! i feel like breaking something... i have SW, why would i buy it again...? actually if the only way i can get that stinking DVD is through buying SW again i will probably forget about it and just commit suicide...

Feel free to buy SW again if you want but that's not going to help. The DVD was only available to people who preordered the game in the US. So it's not sold any more.

Your best bet is Ebay. Copies still come up every now and then and generally sell pretty cheaply.

thats the exact thing im talking about :( i feel free to buy it but :p i dont really want to because ive bought SW already so spending money again on the same thing plus some extra seems to me like throwing the money into a cannel of Scrabs. waste and not recoverable. i already feel bad i started this thread. its a waste of space...

But often the DVD is sold on ebay on its own, without the SW game.

I got mine for free through a friend who used to work at Gamestop. It's really a nice thing to have all the movies there in one single place. Not to mention those extra ones from the Bonus videos, that mentioned stuff that was cut from Munch's Oddysee like Mollucks return, etc.

Well let me not blow it too much out of proportion. On the disc there is a news story (you dont even see Molluck in this vid) and it talks about how Molluck will be hung for screwing up big time. Molluck being cut as well as the return to Rupture Farms was a big controversy way back as most of us here were anticipating seeing his return! Then there were also rumors as well as theories pointing to his eventual return in the finale of the Quintology. Just wanted to clarify that point though. Cheers! :)

I think Molluck is way too important for not being seen again.

I can actually see him being a very main character in the future, it's a mystery of where he went, maybe he'll have his own game, where you have to climb your way up the businesses again.

im really afraid that we wont see any of the old characters in any new games... i hear rumors u see. it makes me sad and mad. why on earth not continue wih the original story? i think it would be great to have Mullock back myself... also i wish they'd show us more of the personal lives of spicies. like not when they are fighting with eachother but when they are at peace. what do they eat, how? what do they do? Where do Glukkons live? Where did sligs come from?

i actually saw part of that vid... the download lets me view the DVD in pieces but its so annoying because at random places it skips to a completely different part. the part with the slig and the puppets is halarious :D

Hey boy, you're ruining it for me :D Where did you hear that rumour of no returning characters, of course they have to bring them back, who can beat the oldies?

Also, on topic of backgrounds of species, they should really delve deeper into the fued between the Glukkons and Mudokons somehow. Spin-off novels? They could easily follow tradition set by books such as Diablo: Sin War, which tackled issues and history from thousands of years before the games.

And I hear rumours about the fourth hero being a goose called Forte and OWI putting out a line of chocolate action figures. Unless you can back your statements up, I'd suggest you don't mention them.

Either way, please use proper grammar and capitalise your sentences. It makes posts much easier to read.

I agree with Al, some books to give more depht to some parts of Oddworld's history would be totally awesome!

as for grammar. i do all my hw and all my official work on the computer with perfect grammar. i was hoping to chill out a bit here, and not have to pay attention to such things but simply enjoying oddworld from the middle of my heart. by the way, im still much better than many other members. but if this is the only way u guys will accept me (kind of funny) i will start capitalising my stinking sentences. Like this. I hope it will make everything simpler...

However im really used to fast typing. So i will probably forget to capitalise on many occasions.

The main point is, i will forget about both things and be a good boy. Until i will get angry like hell again!

Lets get back to the subject of the DVD. Im much more interested in that.

The rumor you heard is probably that OWI was making something else then an oddworld game right now, something that doesn't have all the old characters...

Well, it's true.

They are doing Citizen Siege at the moment, but they will come back to Oddworld after that.

Actually i hate txt tlk too. The sole thing i write that way is "tnx" but i always think twice before writing it :p

Xavier, what is Citizen Siege? Where can i find info about it on the web?
