AO in dactylic hexameter?

just noticed the other thay when playing through the game, that abe rhymes when he tells us his story. He starts rhyming at the end of the intromovie.
"i just had to escape, i just had to be free and i did´nt even know, i had a destinee(yeah i know how it´s really spelled)..."etc.
so is AO written in dactylic hexameter just like the original odyssey?

Uhh, AO is the original first oddysee, it's just a short abbreviation for
the game so it doesn't have to be spelled out loud. I really don't what
else your trying to say.

This thread also belongs in the General Dicussion.

He's talking about Homer's Odyssey, schmuck.

I have no idea what dactylic hexameter is and neither do I care, quite frankly. But this should be in GD.

They may have been making a small reference to the Odyssey seeing how Abe's story is similar to that of the Odyssius'.

But then again, you look at many different epics and compare them to AO and you'd find many similarities.

There's a load of other rhymes there too:

"I had just got past those slogs,
When the strangest thing I saw,
A big moon was before me
And its face...was my paw.

Then I fell...blah blah blah..."

Pretty much the whole movie rhymes...

The weird thing is, it doesn't do that in AE...

Well, AO is an odyssey according to definition. So I wouldn't see why it shouldn't be called Abe's Oddysee.

On that part, odyssey's often include some sort of dangers placed into several kinds of adventure, but all following the theme of trying to find yourself into the world. Often, this has much to do with all sorts of epics, including Abe's. So, like so, being that AO is like these, I can't see why it isn't called an Odyssey.

It is called Odyssey. It's just spelled differently so that it would have the word "odd" in it.

ok, let´s get into some basics.
Homers Odyssey is written in dactylic hexameter, it´s a way of rhyming, a little bit like a limerick. this way, travelling storytellers over greece would remember the stories better, based on the rhymes.

the exodus is the second book of torah, in the old testament. it´s about the slaved jews in egypt and their escape. see the reference?
