Oddworld Myspace Contact Tables
I don't know if this is really acceptable, but I made a variety of Contact Tables for Oddworld. Just the characters from Exoddus and Oddysee. Sligs, Slogs, Abe, etc... They are all the same size and font, just different colors with each character.
http://s14.photobucket.com/albums/a3...orld%20Tables/ Of course, these are just my first ones. (meaning I will make better versions later and maybe animated ones one day.) And I didn't but a LOT of effort into it, but I like it still. It would give your page that oddworld feeling. |
These are really cool and all, but myspace is the most rediculous and pathetic website I have ever known of. So many people that I know have been sucked into it, and have become different people because of it. I would never consider getting one, but good job anyways.
|
lol, Yes. I hate it too, but I just use it for my friends... I really only made them for myself if I needed or wanted them, But I let a few friends use them so why not share them here if anyone wants a little Oldschool Oddworld on there page.
I'm trying to make suitable backgrounds for any website... |
Yeah, for some reason MySpace is not popular round these parts. I wouldn't know, I don't have one, but those are really cool.
|
This seems like this can be popular to MySpace Oddworld fans. But yet myself am not one. Shame on me.
Anyway, prehaps someone that I know that knows about both could use them. Ironically, around my parts that is unlikily. You either are interested in MySpace and not in Oddworld, or the other way around. Then again, 99 out of 100 people in my school know what MySpace is, while 1 out of 500 know what Oddworld is in my school. Guess who is the 1 out of 500 that knows about both! |
Erm... the class nerd?
|
Dang him. I have to change my statstics.
Anyway, aaj111, do you have any success on giving them to your friends? |
I don't get why some people flame myspace when they haven't even tried it.
Anywho. Pretty cool tables, aaj, just wish I knew anything about editing myspace. (About the first sentence: I wasn't talking about anyone in particular, or even talking about people on these forums, I'm just saying in general.) |
I could easily convert them into HMTL form to put into your profile... If needed... and no I don't have many friends so I guess I can't really distribute them well. But this is a start. If I had PS I could really spruce up some awesome stuff.
|
No. No. No. Hell no. I will never tolerate Oddworld on MySpace.
Nice job otherwise though. It is actually pretty cool. |
lol, Hey. I was in the Oddworld Phase and still am. I don't know why, I just played it a few weeks ago, (Which is weird because I've been playing it for like 2, 3 years, just AO) and well, I got an addiction for some reason... And I wanted a Paramite CT... So I made one, and I thought, well what if a friend or someone wants a different one of oddworld... and well either way, It's cooler to have a collection.

Yaaaaaaay!!!
*gets one* My MySpace has a martini background. Not very fitting :fuzconf: |
Feel Free. If I ever get PS I'll add some background and maybe alter them and get a better Oddworld Inhabitants Picture to put in...
|
Ewww, myspace. I don't get what is so godly about it.
Skillya, you are one of the people on here, I would least expect to have one... |
Oooh, they look great, aaj111 :)
I'm not really into the whole myspace thing anymore, but I just might use that Slig contact table on mine. |
:
But let me put it this way. MySpace is a gigantic network of people, which allows you to reach almost everyone you know except old people and MySpace haters. When you want to contact your friends and you don't want to call them on the phone because a) you're lazy or b) you're always afraid you're going to interrupt something (like me), you usually e-mail them. That was then. MySpace is faster and easier to use than e-mail, and generally, people check their MySpace much more often than they check their e-mail. Before there was MySpace, there was too much diversity. We all have our little forums, chats, messenging websites that we go to to talk to our friends. But most of the time, the place where one friend likes to go isn't where another friend likes to go, and the place where another friend likes to go isn't where you like to go. I'd say about 75% - 80% of my school has a MySpace, and that makes the job of contacting them much easier. And MySpace can be perfectly safe if you're smart and don't reveal even remotely personal information. |
