UK is pulling out
Britain pulling out of Basra a little after the holidays, probably will pull out completely a little before U.S. presidential elections. Interesante.
They're "confident" the province will get back under control. Bullshit. Hundreds of Iraqis get killed there on a weekly basis, thousands leave there every month. The death toll/migration toll will be 4000+/100,000+ just for November. This is just a retreat on part of the British and it is smart. They aren't going to be chasing lives after lost lives on this one. Freedom is on the march! |
The cows are coming home!

Thank God. Thank f'n God. I screamed from the start that we should never have gone to Basra. Thank God it'll be over. And I wonder how will this affect the elections eh?

'UK is pulling out'...
...After fucking Iraq Up The Arse Would be a better name I feel. |
Nah, that was mostly the American military and U.S. based mercenary corporations. Excuse me, "private contractors".
|
Two words:
"Friendly" fire. Kind of a misnomer, if you ask me. |
Yeah, that one is way old.
Anyway, this is no hip-hip-hoorah for the UK, America is ruling this game. We have no choice but to follow in their inevitable course of action. Which is the right course of action. The entire operation has been a massive screw-up. All we need now is to get Blair and Bush tried as War Criminals! Hip-hip-horrah! |

I hate to be a downer, but doing that would throw the West into chaos, which would greatly affect the war we are all in. |
