I found out the girl i love has a boyfriend! Anybody else had this kind of problem?

Indeed i'm just realy angry cause when i confessed my love for her she was surprised and said i was the first and then i find out she has a fricki'n boyfriend!

Really hot girl in most my classes, we quickly became friends because i'm charming like that in real life (beleive it or not, i'm not a total nitwit spaz in real life), and slowly, slowly, I start to feel things for her, but I don't say anything because i'm kinda shy when it comes to things like that. And she was going out with someone at the time.

And I still don't have a car to take her out some place, like a cafe or drive-in movie. She eventually stopped going out with him, so now it's kinda open, but I still haven't made a move, because of the above reasons. But I think she likes me too, because

1. She was writing notes when she thought I was asleep in class, and wouldn't let me look at them. I did hear her passing notes and say 'I really like him'

2. Getting MUCH more friendly (no, not like that!) We hang out a lot, and when I goof off by putting my head on her shoulder or something, she dosen't freak out like she usually did. Actually cuddles up against me too.

3. Um, why am I telling you guys this? You'll just make fun of me in a teasing way or say oh-so-wise things about young love, or a combo of the two.

Thanks Mitsur i'm not sure why but that cheered me up. Infact the biggest reason that this was upsetting was that i did'nt want her to forget about me and spend all her time with that guy cause before i started having feelings for her she was one of my closest friends. But anyways i have now stopped feeling sorry for myself for beings to shy and am now regaining the strength to move on.

I experienced a similar problem to the topic author's- I fell in love, and still am in love with this girl, but it's quite a long-distance relationship- she lives like 100 miles away. As such she wanted a more 'real' relatinoship so left me for a guy who lived near. we're still friends, but it was hard for a while.

Most interesting thing I did last week? Hear a polka band at a 50th wedding anniversary. The pie that Uncle Jerome brought was delicious.

I'm such a dickface though, this girl I really like who I've been getting to know recently was at a party last night and though we talked quite a bit and she cuddled me when she left I didn't push the boundaries or ask her to dance or anything. However, that said she is desperate to come watch my band play and hang out with me at a gig in november.
