Onoz, Siks0rz!

I'm sick. Really bad, actually.
I've had since Friday, last week. It's gotten a bit better, but I'm still coughing my lungs up, and sneezing through my ears.
My ears then proceed to catch on fire. It's mainly my left ear.
The coughing really sucks, because it gets so bad that I actually gag.
And despite all this, I still have to go to school.

Kamille 10-22-2006 10:45 AM

Suck it up! *Collects Nemo's lungs.*

Haha. Ain't fall fun?

AquaticAmbi 10-22-2006 01:30 PM

Grr. Kids that went to school when they're sick really pissed me off. You'll just end up making a bunch of other people sick too, especially if you have the flu.

Well I guess the up-side to it is that you can share the misery!

But seriously I feel sorry for you. you can't even stay home for pete's sake! What is this world coming to!

OANST 10-22-2006 03:31 PM

Get a job, punk!

Sharing IS caring, after all.

When you're spending £3000 a year o your education you're gonna attend every lecture come rain or shine, come back-ache or terminal Randy Newman disease.

Nate 10-22-2006 11:45 PM

I saw a statistic recently that, in the US, people who turn up to work when they're sick cost the economy more than $300million every year due to lost productivity. People stay at work because they think they'll fall behind but they end up doing worse than if they had taken a day or two off and come back refreshed.

That said, this thread counts as "pointless blogginess" and, as such, should really be in W&B.

Bollocks. I’m skipping lectures right now.

Hobo 10-23-2006 02:32 AM

Randy Newman disease?

Short people got no reason to live.

Good for you. However, if I do the same, my zebra fish will starve.

Good old Hobo. PC as ever.

Somethings to counter what some people said:
1. I'm a fifteen year old United States man, so what Bullet Magnet said doesn't really count.
2. I don't work, so Nate's doesn't count.
3. I guess since this should be in W&B (Nate's again, for people who are too lazy to read the entire thing), I should be wished a happy birthday?

Arxryl 10-23-2006 04:47 PM

A happy birthday to the sickness you are now hosting! Happy birthday sickness!

That was my response to what AquaticAmbi said about people who come to school sick.

The W&B thread is for personal news.

Nemo 10-24-2006 06:16 AM

Ah, thanks for explaining that, Bullet.

Hobo 10-24-2006 11:20 AM

I have man flu.

Please send humanitarian aid!

Bullet Magnet 10-24-2006 03:49 PM

Death. Cures life. Cures all ails.

*Sends letterbomb to Hobo, despite not knowing his address*

Arxryl 10-24-2006 04:21 PM

Oh... I didn't know that was for personal things. Well anyways, still happy birthday!
