Oddworld Sound Effects!
 
Hey! dose anyone know where i can get some AO and AE sound FX? Cuz i really need em for my Oddworld Fight For Freedom game.

There may be some on the AO and AE PC discs, I'll have a look for you. The game sounds pretty cool.

ohh ok il go and install AE for the pc thanks.

EDIT: Ok i checked... Sadly theres no sound FX files just sounds.dat ...

Have you tried searching in Game Discussion? There have been several threads of that sort in the past.

There's a bunch of sound effect for the Desktop Theme {I think AO PC disk}. I'm sure you could search online and find out how to crack a sound.dat file if you really wanted to.

Why doesn't somebody make a database of all things oddworld, like sounds, fonts, etc. Oh yeah, TOL might do that...hint hint Max, Xav?

Because of the legality?
I'm sure the sounds/images/fonts in OI games are not open source. Using/Distributing them without permisson from OI could end up with you getting a lawsuit.

I haven't heard of the Oddworld Fonts being on your site. Neither all the sounds.

They’re not on The Oddworld Library, but then not much is at the moment. But if you’re looking for fonts, there are a couple available already.
