Michael Bross' new 'Everything Is Now'
Hello, all!
I just recieved Mr. Bross' new album titled "Everything Is Now". It is a fantastic creation, by one of our very own (ex)Inhabitants. He did a great job on it, and so I encourage all of you to go out and purchase it . http://bross.com/music.html I know that all of you enjoyed the past work he has done in Munch's Oddysee, and Stranger's Wrath, and I'm telling you, this work is exactly like any of the other work you have heard from him, when he was working at Oddworld. http://bross.com/ |
Just listened to the samples. It sounds pretty nice. I just might buy it.
|
I loved the remix(the MO one) thing. And everything else, too. Not on the disc, but the shit I found on the Oddworld site. So I come to the conclusion that Michael Bross is just a step behind Ellen Meijers...
*considers buying album* |
Well, this is news for me. Maybe I'll go pick up the album some time.
|
Pretty good find, Cullen Heath!
I wonder, is this his very first album? |
Wow! remarkable! this is amazing. I would buy this if I could find it.

Hi Everyone...
Hi, this is Michael Bross. As Cullen mentioned, I composed the music for Munch's Oddysee and Stranger's Wrath. I'm happy to see that the Oddworld forums are still active. :-) I saw the post here about my new album. To answer Arxyl's question...there are a number of places you can find the album (which is called "Everything Is Now"). You can try one of these: -Apple iTunes (downloadable album). -eMusic (downloadable album). -Amazon.com (CD). -my own site at www.bross.com (both downloadable album and CD). To everyone on the OW forums...feel free to shoot me an email and say hello when you get the chance! Kind Regards, Michael Bross :::::::::::::::::::::::::::: www.bross.com :::::::::::::::::::::::::::: |
O.O Wow. Mr Bross, your work in MO and SW is, Amazing.
I will be buying "Everything is Now" |
Mr. Bross, great to see you posting;)
Sorry, guys, I forgot to provide a link to amazon before. http://www.amazon.com/Everything-Now...e=UTF8&s=music To everyone still considering the purchase, it has almost been a month since I got "Everything Is Now", and I listen to it every day. It is well worth it. Don't miss out;) (Alcar, would you mind moving this back to Genral Discussion, if you get the chance? Someone moved it to offtopic...) |
Welcome to the Oddworld Forums Mr Bross!
I had an inkling you'd joined for this thread and I am very glad never-the-less that you're here. I have to admit I haven't purchased your album at the current moment, but once money isn't so tight, I have it high on my to-do list. Listening to the samples provided on your website, it's just as exceptional as everything we've heard from you before (if not better). I especially enjoyed (from what I heard) Mars Disarmed and The Return, although I am biased towards melodic works. When I purchase the full album I'll be certain to reply again and give you my entire thoughts - I doubt I'll be disappointed. :

:D Welcome to the forums, Mr. Bross!
|
hey good to see you posting :)
I'll make sure to by your album when I have some money :p where can we find your previous works too? I know "Soul Fragements" is on amazon, but you did some others too, no? I was wondering, will you be involved in any future Projects of Lorne Lanning? |
Hey! One post, and he gets six silver stars! Rampant favouritism.
|
Well hi, Mr. Bross!
I love your music! :) |
Thank you so much for answering my question Mr. Bross! And welcome to the forums! as stated by others before me, I enjoy your music very much...

I'm glad you all like the music I've done on the Oddworld games. You're all so kind. I truly appreciate it!
Xavier...I do have a previous album available..."Soul Fragments" (Amazon has it spelled incorrectly on their site). It was from 1999 and is much different than the work I'm doing now and also when I worked on Stranger and Munch. Soul Fragments is not one of my favorite works that I've done, but it's out there and available on some sites. I also have an album I did in 2001 that was never released, but I will be making that available sometime next year. I'm already working on my next new music release but the launch date for that is several months away. Concerning working on future projects with Lorne...he and I are good friends and we're in consistent contact. Unfortunately, I'm not able to say anything at this point about future projects concerning OWI. Any announcements that would be made on that end would need to be made by OWI first. I do have an upcoming surprise for all of you, though, in relation to the music I did for Stranger. As you all know, there are a number of tracks that were made available for download around the time the game came out. But there were many more tracks I created that weren't made available. I'll be posting approx. 20 minutes worth of never-released music on my site in the next 3 months or so. When that happens, I'll let everyone here know for sure with a post somewhere on these forums. I wish you all the best. -Michael :::::::::::::::::::::::::::: www.bross.com :::::::::::::::::::::::::::: |
wow that's amazing news Michael can't wait to have some "new" Stranger music
I'm glad to know you might still do some work for Lorne in the future as your music fits the Oddworld Universe very well :D and it's good to hear some other "personal" music is coming :) |
Welcome to the Forums, Michael. Your work on Munch and Stranger is very popular, and the promise of more downloads to come is fantastic. I’m currently waiting for Everything Is Now to arrive at my doorstep. :)
By sheer coincidence, I happen to be listening to the Abe’s Oddysee soundtrack right now. Do I feel torn? A little. |
Well I can't wait for the new music to be posted on your site! *sits patiently, then reads the little bit about a few months...*
I wonder what ones weren't released... |
I'm going to order it now, purely because you took the time to come speak with us.
Oh, and the music is good too, I suppose... :p |
|
Awesome to hear, and I just checked out some of the music and its excellent. :) I especially liked the Mars Disarmed one, it reminded me alittle of Oddworld.
|
Yehaw, I look forward to the other SW tracks. That's excellent news! :D
(I liked that one soundtrack when Stranger fights in the native temple.) |
Wow, that would be amazing, Mr.Bross! :D I'd love to hear more of the music of Stranger's Wrath. No kidding! :)
