More oddworld games after the movie?
 

I read it in an interview:

"Besteht die Möglichkeit, dass wir ein neues Oddworld-Spiel sehen werden? Wenn nicht von Oddworld Inhabitants, dann vielleicht von einem lizenzierten Unternehmen?"

Lanning: "Das ist möglich. Persönlich will ich aber keine neuen Oddworld-Konsolenspiele sehen, bis es einen Oddworld-Film gibt. "





(I try to translate it: )



"Is there a possibility that we'll see a new oddworld game? If it's not one of oddworld inhabitants, perhaps of a licensed business company then?"

Lanning: "That's possible. Personally, I don't want new oddworld games untill an oddworld movie exists."



So there's the possibility that we'll see more oddworld games...

interviews.

I'd figure Lorne has all his hope on the future Oddworld movie and
does not want to delay it to another game. But I would be surprised
if OWI, in the condition it's in, could create a movie and even more
games and put themselves in a better position again.

but where did you find that interview?

I guess in Europe are news about oddworld not that outspread as in America... I mean not so sensational (even I think it is.)

It's easy to get current news when it's been current for a year and a half. :p

isn't that stuff all just from that one interview called something like "Game Over for Lorne Lanning." I'm pretty sure.

I just want to see news about the movie, more games would still be great

He didn't say a word about the topic of the movie. But there is a movie he said. They work for one.

Well, yeah, companies don't like to blow off too much of the surprise
until it's finally open for the general public on it release date. They just
let enough information leak out to start rumors and excite fans.

Well, I must say OWI is in America so I guess that's where all the
information can be found the most and it gradually travels outwards
into other countries.

Were you talking about my previous post. If that's so I should tell
you I don't really do searches on Oddworld, I just happen to come upon
it by accident. But sure there's plenty of people more than happy to
split information with you. Just ask.

But it seems when I did a search earlier today for MO on PSP, I came
up with a page showing the screenshots for PS2. They might have gotten
things mixed up or I might have, but MO wasn't released for the Playstation.

I'll see into it again later to make sure.

MO was originally planned for the PS2 but then Lorne and Sherry were wooed by Microsoft. Search the forums for more information and plenty of entertaining blood-feuds.
