Oddworld Music Compilation
 

So, like, it's 2:30AM, I'm dead tired, been studying for what feels like forever and this idea just popped up in my head. I'm sure there are several musically talented people around here and more than a handful would somehow want to contribute to the content of these forums. So I thought, why not have people do their own recordings dedicated to Oddworld Music or create their own remixes? People would then upload their creations onto a server, the songs would all be compiled and released publicly - sort of a fanbased album.

The fact that there would be a group of people working on this might even make things easier for those of us experiencing difficulties with editing, remixing etc. as everyone would be able to help eachother out. Also, just to clarify, people would obviously be allowed to create their own original recordings, re-arranges, remixes or whatnot - bottom line is it doesn't matter what it is, as long as you put your heart into creating something Oddworld inspired. So, for now, this is just a suggestion, but I'd like to see if there's any interest in this.

Also, should you happen to like this idea but feel that you can't contribute because of whatever reason, in no way should you feel that you are signing up for anything. This is strictly a survey.

Wow, 2 people, who would've thought the level of interest for Oddworld is that high in this forum? :)

Maybe if I was a musicain (except I'm not and don't have any software to do that sort of thing with), I'd help with a mix for Oddworld, like some people did for Super Metroid with Relics of the Chozo. . . It'd be a really awesome project if it was done right. :)
