You want me to buy a WHAT?!?!?!

I'm no techhead, but in order to use one of biggest selling points of the PS3 you'd need to buy an HMDI cable, which will cost another 40 to 100 dollars, depending on size and availability. You know, even though I think Nintendo's library is usually pretty shallow compared to Sony's I think I might get Nintendo's console, 2 or 3 extra controllers, 7 or 8 games for it, and tell Sony to piss off. Edit: Okay, the article is totally wrong about those prices, you can get a good cable for like a tenth that after shipping, but still. Paying 600+ dollars for the thing and it won't even work out of the box is putting a sour taste in my mouth. |
Meh, HDTVs are barely even available here.
What annoys me is how I have to pay extra for the HD capabilities in the machine when I'll never use it. |
That's how they get you: you buy the product, but it won't work without a certain item. Then you have to buy all the acessories for the product, all the upgrades, new parts, etc.
|
Yup, that's all part of the fun of working in an electronics store. Every time we sell a printer/TV/DVD player/etc we have to inspect the fine print on the box to see if cables are included. Then we charge them about ten times what they're worth if they aren't.

You cheapo, NDW.

Eh, don't blame me. Blame Woolworths Inc.

But I don't know the management and I know you, so I do the natural human thing and take it out on you.
