Hey guys, remember a few months ago when that apple laptop burst into flames like it was smote by some Linux-loving vengeful god? That problem was a little more widespread than you thought. And by little more widespread, I mean it could have happened to nearly 2 MILLION batteries. Apple sure was quick with that recall of a potentially deadly battery, weren't they? /"What company do you work for?" //"A major one." |
Pchaw. Sony's fault. They're the ones that made the batteries.
|
Yeah, Dell laptops had the same problem. It wasn't an issue with the computers. Not really sure why you're attacking apples.
|
Because Apple used the batteries and is now sheepishly recalling them?
|
IT was a Dell laptop that originally exploded. Why you attacking Apple? Atleast there taking care of the problem and not pretending it dont exist.

Whiskey. Tango. Foxtrot. Did you defend Ford during the Firestone incident? Firestone made the tires but Ford used them. There has to be some culpability, you can't put it all on the tire or battery maker.
|
You can, however, put most of it on them.
I think maybe you just hate fruit. |
I still don't understand the point of all of this.
Isn't it a good thing that Apple recalled all of the defective laptops? Or, if you're just talking about having to recall something, then why not talk about Dell? Their recall was even larger, and only happened a week ago. Why not make a big thread about them? What's the point in only jabbing at Apple? So a company released a product with defective parts. Big deal. Happens all the time. |
