I think it's funny how Green Day made a song called "Fashion Victim" on Warning, but then basically became everything that the song poked fun at when their next album, American Idiot, was released.
I mean, just look at the lyrics. Now look at them. Now laugh. |
I begin to think the same thing when they released the song Minority. The thing that really did it for me was a few hundred conformist assholes screaming the chorus to Minority at the school dance. Yeah, you continue to be the minority. Way the hell away from me.

What the hell is up with Stacey Fergison? The Black Eyed Peas already had enough crappy singles from 05 and now here comes Fergie with London Bridge. It's as if she wants to **** up her career even more.

Gnarls Barkley: Hey, you decided to go with the goofy joke party song and its blowing up, one of the hottest songs of 06. Well, enjoy it now because you can never match the success of that goofy song and your fantastic album will be totally ignored. Don't believe me? Go talk to a Grammy winner with a great album that was ignored because he did the same thing, like Sir Mix a Lot.
Snoop Dog Hey Snoop Dog, remember when you were one of the hottest rappers in the business? You were spitting fire with the likes of Dr. Dre and every album you put out was an instant classic and went gold or platinum? Yeah, me neither. What the **** happened Snoop? How do you go from The Chronic and Doggy Style to guest starring in Starsky and Hutch and singing backup for R. Kelly and the Pussycat Dolls? Everybody says you're washed up, I think you still have a good album in you. Suck it up, get back to the notebooks, get in the studio, and prove me right. Unless you'd rather be on a crappy reality show 15 years from now. Look at Flav and tremble, Snoop. TREMBLE!!! |
