I still don't understand custom rankings...

Egad! This is one of the most commonly asked questions. Searching the forum is generally the second step towards enlightenment (ignorance being the first one).

Anyway, in answer to your comment (which is not actually a question so I'm making an assumption as to what you are asking); when the admin decides that someone has been a respected, worthwhile member of the forum, they may reward that person with the ability to choose his/her own ranking.

You should have done what we told you to do in the first place; do a search.

Perhaps you should have learnt the lesson the first time. Just asking a stupid question a different way doesn't make it any more intelligent.
