Abe's Oddysee and Exoddus on Xbox Live Market Place

Before I start anything... :p

If the Xbox Live Market Place was starting to seek games that are a bit more then simply arcade games, would you guys be intrested to see AO and AE on it?

Only in that it would get Oddworld out there to a huge market of people who've never heard of them. But I don't really see it happening.

I don't have Xbox Live, but it would demonstrate respect for two awesome games. So yes. Being a supporter of OWI, I'm interested.

Xbox is already taking a fair bit of Oddworld support. So
I think that if they release AO and AE on the Xbox, they should
release at least MO on the PS2, or even the PS3 when it hits
the shelves. At least for those without a PSP.

the problem is that a port of an Xbox game on the PS2 or PS3 would be harder to do then the port of a PS/PC game on the Xbox 360

plus I'm not sure it's worth the money

It would be good

Having only a ps1 and ps2 i think its a great idea it widens the market making abes oddysee/exoddus less of a cult game it would be great.

Even though I loved the first two games, I see no reason to have them on X-Box Live. If the arcade supports those kinds of games, that would mean they could, but being that AO and AE are rather large games, it might be hard to put them on X-Box Live also. And I doubt OWI would want to go back to their old databases, just so they could make a port onto the X-Box Live. That would mean there would be one more project OWI have to complete, that sidetracks them off their movie project.

However, this might be something they might want to do after the movie, rather than now. If it pulls in the money and a wider fan base, maybe. But I don't really see that these kinds of games could get themselves back on the market.

after the movie with Abe's Story, that would be a very good momement indeed :)

my opinion would be that it would be nice to be on the XLA because it would be much easier for people to purchase it legally this way and OWI could still make a little profit on those games.

I'm not sure it would be the owi team that has to make the port, more the microsoft team ;)

OWI isn't a game developer any longer. Porting would have to be done by another team.

I don't have Xbox Live, but it would be a great idea to release a game with both Abe's Oddysee and Abe's Exoddus on it, and they connect or something, with mini games and hidden movies, I dunno...

Saw a review for Cloning Clyde (which is on marketplace) today and the reviewer said it was similar to the Oddworld games. Anyone got it to compare?

Abes Oddysee on XBLA

Good idea eh? : D

Yep, it’s a good idea, but as you can see it’ already been had. :p

Hell I was wondering. I have had clonin clide, its not like oddworld just has the same 2d thing as oddworld. but its cel shaded and the combat is just pressing X really. not the like the puzzles and challanges in AO or AE
