Hm. Here's Taik, one of my newer characters - not one of the nicest ones, though. Getting him to look backward without looking like he was breaking his neck was *coughs* "fun" too... They're meant to be scars across his shoulders, by the way, embellished with a few tattoos - I ain't sure I got them right, either. Oh well.

*nods* I think so, kind of. No, he isn't one, he's just an ordinary slig - a very cold, sadistic one, but "normal" aside from that. He's one of the few left on the Industrial side in my war, and the Alpha of Talon Pack, a pack notorious for its cruelty.

*shrugs* It just seems likely that they'd retain that kind of behaviour. After all, they're gregarious, highly social - they'd likely go about in little groups, like hunt-packs, and guard each other's backs if they needed to.

makes sense. i never really got the idea of them being wolves. they seem a bit more civilised to me. i think they'd most likely set traps and things, like mudokon natives.

"wolf" was just an analogy - just to get the point across. As there are similarities - highly social carnivores, probably going about in close-knit packs, like wolves do. *shrugs* I think it's because I can't explain things for toffee. Although I could eat some toffee right now... *drools and staggers off to the vending machine*

we don't actualy know they're carnivores. i reckon they're omnivores, but i take your point about the packs and stuff.

Actually, in the last oddchat we did figure out that sligs were carnivores.

I read the transcript of the last chat with OWI. I think Grid asked were sligs carnivores or herbivores or something, and the sanest reply was carnivores. (Alf said "spamivores" and "jibbajabbavores", or something, so I think we can discount them... *wry smile*)

Aaaanyway, here's another of my idle pics. Taik, again - I'm having fun with this bad lad - with his weapon of choice. Yeah, I know it doesn't look like bolas, but then I'm useless at drawing anything moving. Why bolas? Um... dunno. I guess it fits his character. After all, who'd be scared of a slig that doesn't like guns? Which would lull you into a false sense of security...

Whoa! They rock! How long did they take you to draw?

Um... *scratches head* Not sure. I think the bottome one took about an hour, from sketching in pencil to inking... *shrugs* The longest part is thinking what to draw...

Well, there won't be any more art for a while. My computer died unexpectedly last night, and I haven't managed to fix it. *cries*

Oh well. Maybe I'll use my Dad's in the summer - colour scanner! Woohoo!

shame. those are really good. i wish i had a scanner, i have about four pictures. unfortuantely i'm no good at drawing intelligent creatures.

Well, I've revived the main computer, now all I have to do is reinstall the scanner... *wry look* Which I don't have the relevant software with me to do. Hm. Maybe I'll invest in a colour one instead, you can get 'em cheapish... :D That'd be pretty nifty. Although I'd need something like Corel to fiddle the pictures with, and I don't know if the 'puter's fast enough... *trundles away burbling*
