The General T.V thread
This place hasn't had a codified t.v. thread in quite some time, if ever. Its always an individual thread about an individual show. Well, here is the place just to talk about television and general and not a specific show.
First off, I'd like to extend a very warm "Suck it" to ABC. Their reality television show "The One", a destitute man's version of Rock Star or American Idol, was shit canned after 1 episode. The other two new reality shows they have, a game show and a dating show are tanking and appear to be on the cutting block as well. I say good. Enough of this "reality" shit. If ABC had done 2 decent comedies and a so-so drama they wouldn't be getting served by the other competitors. Last, I'd like to call Comedy Central out for airing Lisa Lampinelli. She sucks, and for airing her after airing Carlin, Pryor, and Murphy in the Stash you deserve a cockpunching. They passed up airing a giant of stand up they only air at 12 o clock on a saturday for a hack bitch that goes on and on about black cock? Quality control Comedy Central. Learn it. Live it. Love it. |
Tv... ahh the bliss enjoyment of watching a 50" panel with flickering images on it... the sheer joy.
I love to watch Las Vegas, Prison Break, Hell's Kitchen, and a bunch of other stuff. But I'm to tired to put a big story up here now so I won't. Okay buhbye :D |

I really like Korgoth of Barbaria. Is that going to be picked up as a series? I also haven't seen Stroker and Hoop in forever, not even reruns. And I think Pee Wee's playhouse is a decent show but it just doesn't "fit" well with the Adult Swim lineup, knowwhatimean? |
Adult Swim is a great line up, but like Used said, it isn't really that "adult at all". I really enjoy Seth Green's action figure sketch comedy show Robot Chicken. It's pretty funny, and the voice acting's awesome. I mean, come on, it has Seth Mcfarlane!:D I'm starting to get really into it, and I'm suprised on some of the voice talents.( Mark Hamill, burt Reynolds ETC..) How did they agree to do a stupid show like this? Anyway, it's awesome, along with the other shows on there. I haven't really watched the Anime shows, except for FLCL. I think they've put Pee Wee on it because most of the audience that watches AS was grown up around that generation, but I'm probably wrong. Beside's that, I agree that it's kinda strange to have that on Adult Swim.

The only thing I watch on TV at the moment is The Simpsons and Rockstar.
Oh, but one show is brilliant (though on too late here for me to watch it as it airs) and that is Trailer Park Boys. That show is hilarious. |

Other than that, tv is pretty crapulance. I watch infomercials. |

Eh. Doctor Who is over for now. Sky One finished running through Dead Like Me. All that keeps me watching now is Stargate: SG-1.
