Wanted: Voice Actor for Oddworld Video
 

Alright guys, I got a nice idea for a new movie, but I'm gonna need someone who is fairly good in doing the typical 'movie preview' type voice.

If you are interested, please record a sample of your voice while reading the following line:

'And now, it's up to him, to save the universe.'

Most cliche line there is, I know. Thats why it's so good for a try out ;) .

Samples need to have at least:

- Deep 'preview' voice, google for almost any American movie preview and you'll know what I mean.

- Good sound quality. No distortion in the sample.

- As little background noise as possible.

- Keep the size as small as possible without losing quality, for easy e-mailing.

The person sending in the best sample will be doing the voice over for a video I am planning to make. If you have any questions, feel free to ask.

Note: Samples can generaly be recorded with Windows Sound Recorder. But if you have better stuff at your disposal, by all means use that.

If for any reason you can't e-mail the sample, get in contact with me and we'll find another way.

You can use Windows Sound Recorder, in Accessories > Entertainment > Sound Recorder.

As soon as I find someone who can do the voice I can get to work. Dunno when it will be done exactly, but I have something else for you guys to enjoy untill then. I'l make a post about that soon as well ;).

I used to be able to do a perfect impression of Abe! Then my voice broke, and I can't even do my Jurassic Park Velociraptor anymore :(

I can do a pretty good movie trailer voice. Especially the ones that go.. "Coming to a cinema near you." I'm away from home right now, but when I get back, in the next 2 days, I will email you a sample.

I thought I could do a pretty good movie trailer voice, but having played back my own voice it doesn't sound like it did last time I heard it. However I'll send you the sample I tried, I tried a deeper voice but it sounds so corny I decided to scrap it.

I hate bragging, and I don't want to sound like I am, cause I hate when others do it, but my Abe voice is top of the line, and my Munch voice is in there too. I can also do a Slig, but it's not as good as Abe.


Havoc! I DEEPLY appologise for the delay, been very busy, and I will get them to you when I have a decent amount of time to spare. I'll also try and get you all the Oddworld Character's that I can do, as well.
Just let me grasp a good amount of time.

my voice is deep and I have semi professionally equipment (high impedance microphone)
