Welcomes and Birthdays => Post Count
 

So last week or so, my post count randomly jumped by about 230 posts or so. I've been wondering about what has caused this sudden increase or if I'm crazy and have posted 200 and something posts without realizing it in an extremely short amount of time. Well, I proved that I'm not crazy by finding my thousandth post and counted up to my most recent. Definitely no where near 290.

I decided to check if it's the whole Welcomes and Birthdays posts counting; I posted there just now and my post count increased. Ding ding!

Alcar, are you guys counting posts in there now? If not, is this happening to anyone else?

Hmm. Let me think. Maybe the admins that don't want it to count? Some button may have been accidentally pushed and it hasn't been noticed yet.

I changed it about a week ago. W&B has proven to be a great addition to the forums, so I don't see why it shouldn't count towards total posts. Members that spam in W&B should be dealt with as in any other forum anyway.

I noticed my postcount skyrocket a week or so ago as well. Wondered what was up with that.

Yeah, my post count went higher as well. Firstly I thought it was a glitch with the forum that made my posts multiply by two, but now I know the answer! Good job this thread was made or a lot of people would be a bit confused.

Heh. Didn't even noticed that I breeched 3K. Go me.

It does perplex me as to how I have reached over 2,600 posts in just two months.

To be honest, I didn't realise the post count would increase as much as it did :p So no, I didn't think people would notice.

Yeah, but before hand I was going at a steady rate wihtout the W&B posts. I'm practically Lord Scrotum now.

Eh, I'm not sure that I like this too much. It's almost like since this happened, I'm suddenly noticing what a spamfest W&B is.

I also skipped forward ten-fifteen post. So it's not that bad for me,
but I still like to play more fairly

Meh.

It's always been an area with fewer posting restrictions. It's the closest OWF is ever going to come to having a spam board. But whatever. I really don't give a half-hearted toss as to post counts. (Woo! I have the secend greatest number of posts out of everyone!)
