The government over here is going to do a major rehaul to the internet. maybe just us. But it may go over sea's, knowing them.

Hell no. I don't want pay-to-play internet where competitors can **** up access and speed to competitors and advertise the **** out of people. I don't want a censored, water-down even more expensive internet. Shit, don't these people have more important things to worry about like the entire Middle East going ape and the terrible state of education and health care in America? These politicians are going to whore themselves out for money and hurt the internet. Thats what most politicians are nowadays, whores and crooks.

America needs to focus on their own shitload of problems... yea that would work.

Agreed, Havoc. America has enough problems to deal with: education, government idoits, drugs (least of MY concerns, no worse than letting smoking continue), and rising medical costs. It would seem like the last thing WE need to do is screw around with the lives of OTHER countries. America can't police the whole world!

I don't particularly have a problem with America "taking over" the World. ...and by that, i mean so long as they leave countries alone to do what they want to do.

However, from that Documentary i mentioned in another topic, it seems the Christians of America who're getting into Politics want to bring their morality all over the place. Which is just a bit not-lush.

Saying that, there're still a few Tribes left in the World that need a good whupping into civilisation. Silly beggars. Evolve them a bit!

I'm sorry to say that the whole article went straight over my head, which is embarrassing, as I usually get everything straight away. Perhaps I should read through it again. But the internet is the last place in the world were freedom of speech truly exists, unless you believe the conspiracy theories. Is the US government acting against that, like the Chinese government already has?
