When did you have your first memory?

I thought this thread would be a cool idea. So here it his. What was your first memory and at what age did you make it?

I had mine at age three. It was blurry and I was in an office building with my mother holding me while talking to some guy. Then she asked me to tell the man what my age was. I said five, and then she corrected me.

Lord Vulcher 07-13-2006 09:27 AM

My first memory was the Earth's creation. Worst day ever. Another one of my first memories was when I was 4 and starting Nursery.

Mutual Friend 07-13-2006 09:34 AM

It was my granddad picking up a baby duck in the park and showing it to me. Aww.

That and/or me watching The Fly, which was my first proper horror film at the age of... 4. I think.

And Lord Vulcher, you ARE an idiot. You've made my Idiot List - at least you'll have company with Abeguy, Kamille, Dusan and Havoc.

Dark Elite_H2 07-13-2006 10:49 AM

God...I can't remember well...
Maybe when I was two-four I think I was flying on a plane with my mom to Texas to live.
Really hard to remember when you were a baby...>.<

suprisingly no, I was also quiet emotionless as a child (although I laughed at jokes)

and Dusan I have no idea what you said but thank you :D

Dusan 07-13-2006 12:54 PM

Generaly, for normal human beings, understanding my posts is very HARD.
And mutual friend is NOT funny. He is just a jerk.

Not necessarily 'normal human beings.' You just speak a different language. I know my posts would be ****ed up if I typed in a different language.

Mutual Friend 07-13-2006 12:58 PM

As long as you know, Dusan.

Dusan 07-13-2006 01:04 PM

To used-My posts are fucked up? bDo you know (probably not) what is the feeling when you have to say so much but you just can't because of language?

used:) 07-13-2006 01:19 PM

If you're thinking I was trying to insult you, you are incorrect. "****ed up" is a term we use for describing something not as good as our own, or just simply for something that has a problem or two. Believe me, I sympathize with your difficulties in posting in english.

Well my first memory was when i was in my 3 year, here is how it happened:
I was sitting down beside a table leg, and peeled a sticker from the table leg, and my mom was sitting on a bed beside the table cutting in my feeding bottle (my mom thought, that i had problems with getting the nutrition out of the bottle, so she want to make a bigger hole) then my mom called for my attention and showed the bottle and asked me for drinking, but i was afraid of holes (my mom and my dad did not know it then, but later there were also episodes, where i showed my fright for holes in my fathers socks), and i said: "нет!!", (i have writed it in the cyrillic alphabet, it is pronounsed: "njet") which is a russian word that means: "no!!", then my mother took the bottle and showed to me like she was drinking, then she streched her hand (with the bottle) out towards me, while she said an inviting "a" (like in "father"), but i again answered: "НЕТ!!!!!", and then she gave up to make me drink of the bottle.
So i stopped to drink of my bottle on my self, and without my parents forcing me to it.

Ok...
My first memory was when i was 3. Me and a friend of my sister and my sister were playing a computer goosebumps game. They asked me to go check the screen, (as the boogeyman will jump out at you if you don't keep moving) and as soon as a set hand on the mouse, boogeyman jumps out, i scream, run away, and return by request about 5 minutes later...

I probably only still remember this one because there is photographic evidence of it but I was 10 or 11 months old and my father was taking a photo of me, my sister and my mother on the back porch of our house and I had a fight with my sister because I didn't want her to have her dolly in the photo.

After that, I have some vague memories of that house (which we moved out of when I was one) and the next. My first clear memory after that was watching Sesame Street and Playschool at home while my mother was picking up my brother and sister from school. They hadn't returned home before the shows ended (which was unusual) and I got worried and burst into tears. Thankfully my dad had his office in our home at the time so his secretary came in and calmed me down.

I remember me falling off a couch. At age.. 2?

You are a stupid asshole. Stop posting. Don't try to fit your idiotic ideals into everything you say. It's neither intellegent, insightful, or funny. It's just ****ing stupid. If you're the top of your class, you must live in Alabama. Go away.

SRY GUYZ

My first memory was of me wearing a hat that my Mom dyed for Halloween so that it would match my dinoasur costume. It had a spiny cloth ridge going down the middle. I remember being so short I could only see the top of the hat in the mirror, which was tabletop-height. It's a fun memory.

Aww, memories of a bite sized kimon. Sounds kewl.

It seems like most of these first memories involve falling off something. :p

Havoc 07-14-2006 03:08 PM

I think one of my earliest memories is my dad taking me to daycare in his car and how I always used to play with the lightswitch at the daycare because it was right next to my little cribt. I think I was about 3 or something.

You see, I don't get that because you'd think that someone who is 64 million years old, if not older, would have a bit more life experience and isn't a complete embaresment for the human species.

Well at least I'm at the bottom of the list.

More like 4.6 billion years old. I've been here since the big bang, bitches.

I have alot of old memories. I think my first was when my family had to care for a golden retriever while its owner was gone.I was walking down the hall when the dog jumped on me and started licking my face.

Leto 07-14-2006 05:30 PM

I think I was about 2ish. I bumshuffled past cloth sacks full of lego and saw my mother when she had a orange mohawk.

I think I played legos, but I don't remember that far. Come on, I can hardly remember yesterday.

AquaticAmbi 07-14-2006 08:25 PM

I don't know what my first memory is. My memory of all my childhood years is pretty amazing, or so I've been told. I have tons of memories from when my parents were still married, which all happened before I was three-years-old.

So I'll just post about some of my most sentimental memories. These are some of the later memories since they happened after my parents divorced. I lived with my grandparents for several years with my mom, and whenever I couldn't go to sleep or I felt bad at night, one of my grandparents would take me outside in their backyard and swing with me in this big wooden swing under a huge, hundreds of years old oak tree. Theyed sing to me, tell me stories, etc. I can remember our cats following us out to the tree, the lightning bugs, and the sound of the katydids and crickets.

I also remember once believing that I witnessed a magic train go down the road that I could view from the swing (the swing was to the left side of the backyard, so I could see the front yard all the way to the road). The magic train was all lit up, and everytime that one of my grandparents would take me to the swing, I looked at the road in hopes of seeing it again. As I grew up, I came to accept that it had to be just some large vehicle with lights on its sides.

I remember when I went to Florida and my uncle caught me a lizard (which I kept as a pet for a week until it died)

Um, that was a quick joke. My real first memory was after that, which I guess you did not bother to read.
