Got this game last Christmas. It rocks. Anyone who has a PS2, wants to be a rockstar, and has no where near the talent to do so needs to ge this game.
|
Isn't that the game where u have this wannabe guitar, which doesn't have strings, but a bunch of buttons?
I prefer the real thing, thank you very much :P. |
Yeah, I don't see what's so amazing about yet another rhythm game.
Explain, please. |
:
Nate, it's fun because it's good rock music, not techno crap like most rhythm games, and because you've got a guitar controller. And when you miss the notes, they don't actually play in the song, so if you're shit, it sounds shit. There's also a whammy bar, and 'star power' which add another dimension to the usual rhythm game. |
I play proppor guitar and Its much better.
|
There's no ****ing competition, retard. Red Octane didn't make the game thinking "We'll show all those guitar players out there a thing or two" What the hell is wrong with you people?
Do you dislike racing games, because racing in real life is more exciting? |
I'm sorry, you're right. I must admit, it IS an outstanding game. Not much others have games like that. Maybe Donkey Konga, but that's dull...
If I had the opportunity, I'd try it. but I don't. Now if you'll excuse me, I'm off to the beach. |
I have nothing against guitar hero as long as people dont think they are rock stars when they play it.
|
Did we ever say we did? Though you feel like a rockstar when you play it, which makes it fun.
|
Do you.
|
That's not even a question.

Anyway, I'm pretty obsessed with it now. Daxter King, since you're the only other one seemingly participating in this thread, where are you up to? I've finished all the modes, and am currently three songs away from having hard mode five-starred. Expert is another story altogether. |
:
Hmm, this sounds interesting. I like games where you get to use an interactive tool to play. |
well thats a bit off topic and sorry for saying that I was really bored that night.
and on guitar hero do they play well known songs or made up rock tunes? |
Ack, wrong thread. I edited my post.
And Jesus, if you're bored go masturbate or something. Just don't make blockheaded posts like "yes, thats tru" or "sure." |

Song list All tracks except bonus tracks are credited on screen with the phrase "as made famous by": for example, "I Wanna Be Sedated, as made famous by The Ramones". The odd phrasing was used because the actual songs could not be used in the game, and the songs had to be "re-recorded" by working musicians, some of which work for RedOctane themselves. Thus, the tracks in the game are not "by" said artist, but "made famous by" said artist and re-recorded for licensing and programming reasons. [edit] 1. Opening Licks * I Love Rock & Roll - Joan Jett & The BlackHearts * I Wanna Be Sedated - The Ramones * Thunder Kiss '65 - White Zombie * Smoke On The Water - Deep Purple * Infected - Bad Religion [edit] 2.
