Pause Screen Code?

When you pause the game there is a eight letter/number sequence. What does this mean if anything?

Slaveless 07-08-2006 01:12 PM

I never expected that there would be a problem if this happened. Anyway, do you have the save option on? Also, can you say one of the sequences to us?

It is the name of the specific panel you are on.

Spirrow 07-08-2006 04:01 PM

It describes what screen you are on in whatever region of the
game.

I've wondered that too...

The 2 figures at the start are the stage you are in. Then it is P** where ** is the 2-digit number of your path. Then it is C** where ** is the number of the screen you are on.

EDIT: a sequence that is typical is MIP01C01. This is Mines Path 01 Screen 01 (the first screen)
The abbreviations are:
R1: RuptureFarms 1
SE(I think): Stockyard Escape(note this is ONE stage)
dunno: Monsaic Lines
PA: Paramonia
PT: Paramonian Temple
dunno: Paramonian nests
SA: Scrabania
ST: Scrabanian Temple
dunno: Scrabanian nests
dunno: Stockyard return
R2: RuptureFarms 2 zulag 1
R3: Zulag 2
R4: zulag 3
R5: Zulag 4
R6: The Boardroom
Note that the only time you can go back a stage is from R6 to R5, which is why everything resets.

MI: mines
NE: necrum
PV: mudomo vaults
SV: mudanchee vaults
FD: Feeco Depot
BA: Slig Barracks
BW: Bonewerkz
dunno(I think either BR or BY): Brewery

I don't know the enders because I forget to record them(I think the mines ender is ME)

so wat is so great about this code?

Nate 07-30-2006 05:16 PM

It's great because you can consisely and uniquely tell someone where you are in the game.

magic9mushroom 08-15-2006 10:37 PM

What is NOT great is when a walkthrough only uses screen codes rather than "left" "right" "up" "down", I find.
