Anyone got an oddworld tatoo?

i'm getting one as soon as i can and i need some suggestions of you guys.
I was thinking of the logo but then i thought its a bit boring,then i thought i'd get the soul storm logo.I like the necrum logo but some dude on the nets got one on his wrist,its sweet.

Any suggestions?

What if you aren't so interested in oddworld in 20 or 30 years?

I agree. Tatoos tend to lose their flavor after a while, especially ones that are directly related to a product or brand.

That said, I think the Oddworld logo would look pretty cool. As would this one, this one, this one, and this one.

Ehh, I wouldn't use a tatoo for something like Oddworld. Unless you really like it......a lot. But as Stranger's girl said, you may become uninterested in oddworld in later years. In fact you probably will. A tatoo is almost permanent, so unless it's something small, I would highly recomend taking a good look on it.

A tatoo can be cool. But you have to realize it will be there forever, like everyone else said. The only way to get it off again is with a very painfull laser treatment.

If you realy want a tatoo related to Oddworld, i'd do something that isn't 'directly' related to it. So no pictures of characters or something. The tribal tatoo's are very cool and are also enjoyable even if you don't like Oddworld anymore in a few years. The Oddworld logo isn't a bad choice either because unless you know what it stands for, it's just a symbol.

If I was to have a tattoo related to Oddworld I would probably have the logo. Another thing to mention is where you might have the tattoo. For example my friend has kind of made a mistake by having one along his arm, often he has trouble with certain jobs because they require that the tattoo not be visible while working, but it's kind of hard to hide with a short sleeve shirt.

i'd place it on my right arm almost shoulder height (high up), this means i can hide it under a t-shirt or shirt if i'm on the job or dont want anyone to see it.

Maybe I'm going to get one. It will be not a logo of something but a logo I did... something own you know. I think, that's a good idea.

5 years ago, I drew the Oddworld logo on my right arm with a black biro and it looked really good. The funniest thing was that I didn't want to lose it and traced the lines at regular intervals. It held a week, then I lost my interest because a tattoo on the arm doesn't look so good I think.

That's why I would decide to get a tattoo of the OW logo on my neck. And I really would do it. I love the logo. :D
And when I have days I don't unconditionally want to show the tattoo, I just cover it with my hair. ;)

If they make a mistake you could end up with ink poisoning. Because tatoos seep into the skin.

That guy from the Oddipus complex got the necrum symbol on his wrist. If I got one then I'd go for exact replicas of Abe's. We may turn out to be like trekkies or Star Wars fans in that we stay fans forever. I can't think of anything else that has held my interest for ten years (not counting Star Wars or anything "real life")

Havoc, weren't you considering getting a tatoo? Did you ever end up sticking to it?

I'm still going to get one someday. Just because I pointed him to the risks and musts, doesn't know I don't know them/arn't willing to take them. But with everything thats going on I just didn't have time to get one yet. Trust me that you guys will know when I do get one.

i keep on giving myself quite a few oddities with the old sharpie. i am currently sporting the no farts sign on the back of my hand, the scrab rockart symbol just below it, a small OWI on my wrist, a mudanchee below it, and somewhere on the side is a little sesshoumaru moon. i could show the pics, but the power is cut to the camera memory slot, and the usb. :spin:

* giggles, then bursts out in evil drugged cackling* dood, you need to get out more. change of plans. i got a celtic knot dolphin at the aquarium, so i had to wash off the other tattoos. the mudanchee is still in the same place, and my poor excuse for a necrum symbol next to it and mudomo next to that (yay! a mudo bracelet). the rockart scrab looks like it's going to eat the dolphin. to go with all that, i'm wearing that demon necklace that i posted in ma'h art thread, and a bracelet of cursed beads that was worn by an evil alpha-scrab tai youkai. if you don't know what that means by now, than you sir, are a baka. or you just don't know japanese. pm me for japanese curses (it's always funny when you call someone a dog eared idiot and they don't know what you said)

Hmm nah I can't think of any suggestions that haven't already been said, if I was to get an oddworld tatoo it would probaly be abe, or the logo.

Whatever you pick will be fine, but you should definitely get one!

why do this??? I don't get you guys. A tatoo will remain will you for the rest your long living years. So...you end up telling your friends about what a great tatoo you have. Disappointment when they are not interested.

Yeah. Stranger's Girl is right 'ere. As fer the tattoo....I don't recomend it. Then again, I can't spell, so don't listen to me.

I did think about getting one at one point, a while ago. In the end though it was just another fantasy. :P

I wanted the Paramite scar on either my chest or shoulder. The same thought occured to me as Stranger's Maid, though - Once tatooed, you're scarred for life. What if I lose interest in Oddworld eventaully (unlikely since it lead me to people who affected and still affect my life so much - but you never know) and it means nothing to me?

Then again, tribal-styled tatoos like that still look cool, whether they have meaning or not. And I suppose it wouldn't mean nothing - It'd be a permanant reminder of my gaming past. :P

Maybe I'll still get it one day when I have money to waste on things like that.
