Moolah copy

I was searching in google for "moolah" and look what i found: http://www.gamespot.com/gamecube/act...bo/review.html, and on this site there are standing following: "Mollah is the currency of the game"!!?!.
It was released on february 2006, so oddworld was long before it.
So are oddworld getting copied or what?.
Edit: I don´t know why but you can only go to the site through google or yahoo (maybe also some other search sites).

It's not copying Oddworld.

O.K. so "moolah" is just slang for money.
So chibirobo is unguilty of the counts.

The term "Moolah" has been used quite a lot e.g. Star Wars.

What's a "pid"?

Pelvic Inflammatory Disease.

Or Personal Identification. Gamespot likes to share its passion for videogaming by forcing you to pay for what are essentially game advertisements.

plenty of people who don't speak english very well

Glukinator 07-04-2006 08:31 AM

Whether or not you haven't found this out, he speaks Serbian, they don't have the same slang as english speakers do.

I was not aware of the slang term Moolah prior to Oddworld introducing me to it. It is not a common word here.

Lord Vulcher 07-12-2006 03:45 AM

Err... why is this topic still open? Nate_dog!

Nate 07-12-2006 05:49 AM

Umm... It's still alive because you posted in it. If you hadn't, it would just have settled into obscurity.

That said, I'm closing it anyway just because it's fun to do. :D
