Here guys, does anyone like the Playstation? I have a PS2 and I am getting the PS3 this Christmas. So, any thoughts? Do you like Sony?

I own a PS2, but its crapping out on me..:(

I hate the Playstation 2, the online sucks, God of War sucks, and, well, i just dislike playstation.

I sort of like the PS2. It isn't bad, but I think I would prefer X-box though.

What I like about PS2, is that it can make some pretty good adventure games on it. But other games like Battlefront 2, was and still is, really hard to play with. The controls are funny, the jointstick is too fast sometimes, and it's really hard to aim with. I mean, I couldn't even be a sniper because of the lack of cabilities! Though sometimes that can be a good console.

My major problem with the PS2 is that almost every game on that console is a port from either the X-box, PC, or Nintendo. They have a few games of their own, and even those lack good playablility and graphical advancement.

Ps1 was fun, I didn't really like Ps2, and Ps3 is looking pretty sweet. But who's to know?

Ever play the Ratchet series or the Jak series, they have good graphics for any system out now. Also Shadow of The Colossus is probably the best looking game of this generation.I like the PS2, though I prefer my Xbox. PS1 was also good.

What do you mean? Most PS2 games were stolen by XBox, but I suppose everything nowadays is stolen.

PS2 has a few good games. I bought a used one so I could play Shadow of the Colossus and Ico. Beyond that, there isn't much besides the Silent Hill series and a few other quirky Japanese games.

Everything else is just RPGs. I don't do Japanese RPGs. I just don't.

PS3... looks pretty, I guess. However, I haven't seen anything that warrants paying $500-600.

LV: Nothing is 'Stolen'. Games are ported from one console to another. And the PS2 has more ported games from X-box then vice versa. The most retarded thing is though, that games ported from the PS2 to the PC only have the controls changed and nothing else. And lately there are even games that don't even do that anymore and actualy require you to have a joystick to be able to play!

I like the Playstation 2 more.

x box is better that any PS but PS1 was so fun.

I like them both. They both offer good variety, performance, and are easy to learn to control.

I have a PS1 and have intentions of buying the PS3 when it's released
in November. I have an awful lot of games on the PS2 to catch up with.

Playstations are my specialty. I grew up with it long before the
Xbox arrived and I intend to stick with it. End of story.

The only problem I have with the PS2 was that the games for it were a wee bit to easy.

Now that's a bit of a generalisation. Up the difficulty, or play childrens games. Those are damn near impossible.

I enjoyed the Playstation 1, it had many good titles. Vib Ribbon, Heart Of Darkness, Skullmonkeys, SOTN, and this one virtual pet game (where you were a watering can?) to name just a few.

I really wanted a ps2 for a while. Mainly just for the LOTR games. Eventually I became happy with my cube and PC.

Now I'm thinking about buying a ps2 once the ps3 comes out since prices should go down tremendously for the ps2. Over the course of 06 I have found games exclusively for the ps2 that look interesting to me. Mainly Japanese RPG's like Way of the Samurai. I would also like to play DDR at least once in my life.

all my life i have been a Nintendo fan,i had a playstation but it was always in second place compared to my snes and N64.
When i got the Gamecube at launch i worked out i could afford either an Xbox or PS2 (i had been saving like crazy that year), i got an Xbox and have never looked back (apart from i bought a slim line ps2 nearly a year ago).
At the moment i play on the xbox 360, so i dont really like sony.

I find it funny how every one says that Nintendo ports their games onto other consoles. Besides the CD-i fiasco, and Atari, they don't make games for other then Nintendo consoles

i like alot of ps2 games but i think the ps1 is one of the greatest systems ever made it had sooooo many classics

My favourite games on the PS2 are the Jak series and Armoured Core 2. I remember buying it having sold off a video walkman I bought cheaply for enough to buy the console and a few games, but I really bought it in anticipation for Munch's Oddysee...

I play it for the Final Fantasy series. That about it. PS3 is Sony version of Xbox360.

I don't know...when I comes to buying a new console, I buy it for the games out on it. So ps2 an ps1.
ps1 was tomb raider I have to admit. Its lost all meaning now with Legends.
ps2 was final fantasy.

Playstation just keep releasing there old games so I would cry with they did the same added HD graphics for ps3. Whoop de doo! (sarcasm)

Get an Xbox, buy Ninja Gaiden Black...see how easy that is.
