Guys, I need some support.

My dog just died on 6/28 and I am very sad. We are just bawling our eyes out, and we are so miserable. Please, we need some support ok?

OANST 06-28-2006 05:38 PM

Awwwww. Let me give you a hug. Oh yeah. I don't know who or where you are. Better luck next time.

Marco the Glukkon 06-28-2006 05:56 PM

It was just...he had a seizure and then just died man. This sucks, it's freakin' nuts. He was fine just a minute ago. We had to bury him an hour ago!

Mutual Friend 06-28-2006 06:00 PM

Yes.

SeaRex 06-28-2006 06:01 PM

MF, second warning.

used:) 06-28-2006 06:05 PM

He's dead, he's gone forever, he's not coming back. Just look at it like this, any body decomposes somehow when it's dead, so just think of him returning to the Earth, so now you are with him always in some form.

Mutual Friend 06-28-2006 06:26 PM

Used, this is your first warning. I thought about giving you two in one go, but fortunately for you your posting required some degree of thought and effort - a cut above the usual level of spam. Carry on.

To make this relevant: Marco, feel free to PM me to discuss the pain you're feeling right now. I'm an open book who likes a laugh (though not too much!) and who has a loving shoulder to lean on when you’re not strong.

Havoc 06-28-2006 11:48 PM

I don't think you're in ANY position to be dealing about warnings, hot shot.

Marco: Sucks mate, losing a pet that has been part of your life for a big amount of time is just as bad as losing a family member IMO. I'm sorry for your loss.

Wil 06-29-2006 04:21 AM

Marco, I'm very sorry for your loss. Here is a place you can talk about it. There's probably even better places, but it's one I know about.

Lord Vulcher 06-29-2006 06:22 AM

I am so sorry for your loss Macro. We'll give you al the support you need. Come on guys! Lets cheer him up!

That sucks man and I know how it feels. I've had a bad run with dogs, one getting bit by a snake, another hit by a car, and my last one had a disease in her brain. And yeh I cried about all of them a fair bit because I get very attached to things that are really close to me. Being a really clingy person is one of my faults. That's why I try to care only about myself. It might be a selfish attitude but I won't mourn my own death when I'm gone will I?

I found a cat skeleton in the bumper my car today. Well, the repair shop people did at least. I thouht it may have been m old cat Shouster who vanished a few years ago.

What on Earth was a cat skeleton doing in your car?

A cat probably climbed in there for warmth and it couldn't get out.

Cats find quiet places when it is time to die.

Sorry Marco. My parrot died suddenly, too, we were expecting another 80 years out of him.

Mutual Friend 07-05-2006 11:31 AM

To lighten the mood: my cat is alive and well. I'm stroking him now! I'm trying to teach him to jump through flaming hoops and steal people's wallets.

Havoc 07-05-2006 02:11 PM

Oh oh! Can you teach him to do djoo djitzooo and lunge at your throat? That would be soooo awsoooomee....

Excuse me... I'm high on paint fumes...

Mutual Friend 07-05-2006 06:39 PM

Heh. I like your style!

Rich 07-06-2006 03:39 AM

Guys, on topic please. That is, comforting this guy, not being pricks about his loss.

Mutual Friend 07-06-2006 04:27 AM

Oh, come on! It was never a topic in the first place: "Hi guys, make me feel x/y/z emotion." But point taken.

Are posts ABOUT a topic, er, off-topic?

SeaRex 07-06-2006 08:23 AM

Exactly. Not much of a topic.
