Oddworld Forums - Dark Hood and Dragadon explore Scrabania.

Here is how Dragadon and me meet Twisted Firestarter.

*Dark Hood is ontop of his bed, staring at the celing.*

DH: "Damn. I never knew Oddworld could be so boring."

*he gets up to look at his joblist. Seeing everything was done, he hangs it back on the wall.*

DH: "Sod this. I'm off to see what Dragadon
is doing."

*He grabs his jumper off the table, and takes his stick out of it's pocket before tying the jumper around his waist. (He's wearing a t-shirt, BTW). He exits to Dragadon's lair. Dark Hood walks past ARAT on the dusty roads of Pyke, and heads for the forest. Upon entering, he heads for Cili's old village, and then when he get there, he takes the path to Dragadon's lair that Cili and Abe made.*

*Two hours of forest walking later, he arrives at Dragadon's lair.*

DH: "Knock! Knock!"

*Dragadon looks out to see DH*

Dragadon: oh hi DH what's up?

DH: "I'm bored. Could I come in for a bit?"

Dragadon: sure, it just so happens Abe and Cili are here too

DH: "Yeah, thought so."

Dragadon: Abe is trying to teach Cili how to open bird portals, its pretty funny. He's not having much luck.

*He enters*

DH: "Really?"

Dragadon: yeah *chuckles* he's getting kind of frustated.

*Dark Hood laughs as well.*

DH: "This I have to see!"

*as they go in deeper they can here Abe and Cili inside.*

Cili: Abe this is not working, I don't think Moon Children are meant to be able to open bird portals

Abe: *sigh* you don't know if you don't try. Please keep trying.

Cili: I am!

*Dark Hood and Dragadon come into view.*

DH: "Hey guys! Messing around with bird portals?"

Abe: Hi DH. I'm trying to teach Cili how to open the portals. Not having much luck though

Cili: And I kept telling him that Moon Children are not supposed to be able to open them! sheesh.

Abe: *sighs again* I don't believe that, I think all mudokons can. Do you want me to show you how to do it again.

Cili: sure fine, it's not going to help

DH: "Okay."

*Abe chants and opens the portal, then closes it again.*

Abe: now you try

Cili: *groan* if you insist, it still won't work though.

*Cili chants, but instead of the portal opening, Abe gets a bit fried*

Abe: YEOW!

Cili: ah sorry love

*Dark Hood laughs*

Abe: *smoking slightly* ok a bit of feedback there...

*Dragadon laughs*

DH: "Show me one more time. I don't think I've seen a mudokon open a bird portal close up before.*

Abe: ok *he chants and opens the portal up*

*Dark Hood walks over.*

DH: "Now, if we. . ."

*He trips over a stone. . .*
DH: "Waa!"
*. . .and falls into the portal. It closes on him.*

Abe: ut oh

Dragadon: i hope that portal didn't lead into a factory or something

Cili: poor DH

Abe: *thinks a moment* no it went to Scrabina.

Dragadon: that's quite a distance away. I be go see if can find him.

Cili: ok good luck Drag.

Dragadon: thanks, oh and Cili, try not to fry Abe anymore trying to open portals *grin*

*Cili bursts out laughing, Abe just scowls*

Abe: that wasn't funny...

Cili: oh light up love *kisses him*

Abe: hmm I think I will...*kisses her back and wraps his arms around her*

Dragadon: heh, I'm going now. You two love birds don't get into any mischief now.

*Dragadon exits and starts flying toward Scrabina*

*Meanwhile in Scrabania, a portal opens, and Dark Hood falls out of it.*

DH: "D'OH!"

*It closes on him and he gets up and dusts himself off. He looks around.*

DH: "Where am I?"

*He notcices a scrab in the distance and an ancient mudokon wall carving on a cliff face behind him.*

DH: "Oh no. Not scrabania. Good job I have my jumper off, or I'd be human fritters by now."

*He charges up his stick, just incase there is trouble, and walks to a cliff overhanging a canyon.*

*He stops near the egde of a cliff to admire the view. He hears something behind him. He turns around to see a strange creature brandishing a flamethrower, running toward him.*

DH: "AHHH!"

*The creature grabs hold of him as he activates his shield, surrounding them both.*

DH: "D'OH!!!"

*They roll off the edge of the cliff.*

*Meanwhile, Dragadon had ported herself to Scrabiana and started searching for DH*

*She spots a familar looking purple marble falling off the cliff*

Dragadon: *thinking* great he's gotten himself into trouble already.

*She dives and catches the marble, just before it hits the ground.*

*She flies back up to the cliff top and lands, setting the marble gently on the ground in front of her.*

*Dark Hood, after pushing the stunned creature away from him within the shield, deactivates the sheild.*

DH: "Thanks for saving my butt there, Dragadon."

Dragadon: *looks at the strange creature* interesting love interest you got there

*She chuckles*

DH: "What?"

Dragadon: you two playing 'lovers leap'? *bursts out laughing*

DH: "Shut up!"

*He looks at the creature.*

DH: "Me and an ugly creature in punk clothes? Uh!"

Dragadon: *between laughs* you two would make and interesting couple

*she clutches her side do to a cramp from all the laughing*

*Dark Hood is getting slightly annoyed.*

DH: "Can it, lagoon breath!"

Dragadon: just poking some fun at ya, monkey boy

*Dark Hood turns toward the creature.*
DH: "Anyway, she looks a bit stunned right now. You got a bucket of ice water?"

Dragadon: of course *hands him a pail*

DH: "Thanks."

*Dumps it over Twisted.*

Now, all we need is Twisted to carry on.
