Assuming you're trying to tell us that the demo won't work, you should tell us which operating system you are using and whether you have yet tried to use Win95 compatibility. If you're using WinXP then you may be out of luck.

Usually, Windows 2000 does not operate AE or AO. Press the Compatibilty Mode when installing, and go to http://support.mircosoft.com/default...b;en-us;279792 to learn more.

Dude, I have win 2000 and AO works fine.

I get cursed at quite alot in my grammer and what I say. My chinese english. Anyway mines works perfectedly on win2000. Plus it only a demo!!! Buy the stinking game.

I have both AE and AO on Windows XP and they both work fine, so why did you post that it doesn't work on XP eh?

The demo of AO... hm. It should just work on XP. But if you get an error, it might be a compatibility issue. Try re-installing it under 95 compatibility.

Just because it works for YOU on XP, doesn't mean it will work for everybody. Many people have had problems with running the games on XP and we are yet to find a reason why or an adequate solution.

I ordered Abe's Exoddus for the PC ^-^ WOOT
the Exoddus, try searching the internet for a Patch or something, that might help with your problem.

XP was bought in the store(and it works fine). Furthermore,
I can use another computer, a Windows98 to my own advantages for almost a whole year.

A patch means a fix for Abe's Oddysee and it makes it work for Windows XP

OWI have never put out a patch for winXP. I have a vague memory of a third-party patch that didn't really work very well but I could be thinking of another game.
