Who here has played Sligstorm? I've been trying to buy it but I'm having a really hard time finding it. I played it over at my friends house once and I really like ii.

Ummm... SligStorm doesn't exist. It was never made.

Are you sure? Cause I played it over a friends house. Maybe it was just a demo.

Then it wasn't SligStorm. Only the concept of the game was announced, but they never even got through to starting with it.

Well, I feel stupid.

SligStorm was a game that was suppose to side with AE. The game itself was intended to be the length of Slig Barracks, in AE. For some reason, the people didn't like it, and for all eternity, was cancled. Or shelfed. Just some feedback on the game.

If your friend really has the game, rob him or her, and make copies of the game. Then of course, give it back. If it really was a video, well doggonit there goes our dreams.

I'll have to call him up and ask him about it. I guess I could have been wrong, though. I don't really like going over his house anymore though cause everytime I do he wants to play drinking games. With just the two of us. I mean, he's a really sweet guy but I just don't think of him that way. Know what I mean?

This idea is understandble, but I have never experienced that kind of relationship. But I know it must be hard to be friends with someone who likes you in a different way.

Anyway, it must be trailer. No history of SligStorm demos or games have been written.

Can't have even been a trailer. If there was one we'd have known about it.

it may be renamed Slig's Oddysee:)if it's true then i must say i heard about oddworld fan who created simple oddworld game on his own...maybe now it has expansion - Sligstorm?;)....though i don't recall name of this guy...need to look in my archives!

Drew did some games... but SligStorm was an official project ;)
and I doubt they would rename it Slig's oddysee, we didn't had Mudonkon's Oddysee or Gabbit's Oddysee

And if i do?))...we (fans) know a lot of things about Oddworld Universe, there are many talented coders, musicians, painters, scriptors (etc) among us, so we have to try to carry on OWI while they course is not games but movies...it's a simple thing, we already have fanart and fanfiction on forums, why don't just add CG and script? genre? everything we want - from quest to strategy (maybe chess-sim)...:)

were canceled by whom and why?..by creators themselves?...then they're just lazy loosers, what more can i say))sitting on their asses and waiting for piece of info from OWI - that's the spirit of a true oddworld fan with talents in game developing)))HA!

More likely they were started and never finished. Personally, I've got about five games/programs in various states of completion in my 'Programming' folder ATM.

Reading this get me excited to see this sligStorm. We'll just have to wait¬_¬ :p till aprilD gets back to us.

Plus the slig oddysee is crude, its like the old bombjack or super mario for snes
