Lost series 2

Lost started again last night,(well in england anyway) did anyone watch it? In the channel 4 advert it says they apologize if you was confused and answers will be given in the next series,
*Spoiler alert*

so far theyve gone done the hatch, some crazy funny acent guy is holding locke hostage, sawyer and michaul have landed on a beach and 'the others'
have found them,
does anyone have a clue to whats going on?

I'm glad to know that another country is actually screening Lost behind what Australia is up to. I do know what is going on but I won't spoiler it for you. If you are like me, you hate spoilers.

Answers will be given in the next season?

Hardly.

Courtesy of first viewing pleasures, I'll go ahead and tell you now that you'll be just as confused as ever. A lot more shit goes down, but hardly anything makes sense. Then again, they have a contract for another 3 seasons or something. So the writers still have a whopping 2 years or so to explain what the hell is going on. Sweet.

And yet, I still watch...

Everyone is stupid except me.
The show is terrible.
Not to mention how it's just a big money-making machine.

I was going to say something along those lines.

The first series was shite, do we really need a second?

Never seen it.

Watching Lost is like courting a prick-tease for weeks on end with zero pay-off. And who wants that?

Unless that prick-tease is Ian Somerhalder, of course.

i admit alot of its pointless, e.g lets put a polar bear on the iland what gets shot and then everyone forgets about it

I love Lost! I thought I was going to cry when that girl got shot the other day. :(

I've never managed to get round to seeing either series of Lost, but I intend to get the first on DVD then wait for series 2 to be re-run. But I know loads of people who watch it and love it. And if there's so many more series, I have a feeling it could be like The 4400- dragged out and rarely fully explained.

I originally watched Lost because J. Abrams swore that everything would be explained by the end of the first season. But then the show was a hit and they got signed up for god-knows how long and they can't give anything away.

I've managed to get through the first six episodes of the second season but I don't know whether I can be bothered continuing. Has anyone here watched the rest of the season and can tell me if it's slightly interesting?

Majic 05-13-2006 12:12 PM

It slows down a bit in the middle, but it's been picking back up as of late. Particularly last weeks episode; pretty decent stuff.

Four seasons of Lost!

Only Two more to go. Abrahms did a fanatastic step off the small screen to Mission Impossible III. I reccomend his latest film to anyone. If you like Lost then you'll like MI III because it had the Lost/Allias/Abrahms feel to it (You know, like just piano chords playing whiles we hear no dialoge or sound effects.)

I love Lost! When the series first started, my Dad reconed that they all died and went to hell and the Island, was hell. But he changed his mind now.

My favourite character is Locke, what his Dad did to him was mentally disturbing.
