Fanfiction?

Currently, I am writing a fanfiction about a Gabbit called Sami. There was nothing particularly distinguishing about him, except that his eyes were a peculiar pea-soup shade and he was very small. His home was run over by one of a whole array of new species that are introduced in the fanfiction. While one of them was chasing Sami, a scrap pile falls on them, killing the Woulk and leaving Sami as an invalid: his left arm is cut off to the elbow and one of the fingers on his right hand is missing. The chase leads him to the edge of an unknown forest. Sami almost starves, but when he falls asleep one time, he is carried off by a tribe of Nautipi, one of the only intelligent species in the forest. When he asks of the Nautipus wise men how to get his cosy little nest back, they direct him to the Almighty Raisin. It takes Sami months to find him, but the Raisin does not know the answer.
He comes back, and one Nautipus shaman tells him: Summon the Shrykull. Even though Sami is not a Mudokon (bleh), through courage and chivalry, he could use the Shrykull to drive the Woulks out of his home. Sami hunts high and low...until he finds that he already has the Shrykull ring, locked up inside him.

My questions are: is it a good plot, is everything in accordance with the world of Oddworld, and will it be worth my while?

Well according to my beliefs when I read it... I think the plot is great;) but it's up to you if you want to continue with it - I'd personaly love it if ya did, cuz the fic sounds intressting:D:D

Even if the plot was rubbish I'd say its worth doing, as it'd offer valuable practice for writing you do later on.

But in your case, the plot sounds very good, something potentially very interesting. It has the potential to make a great story.

Only complaints are that there are too many failures (like searching for the raisin) and you've just given away the ending!

Lol yea... You just summarized almost the whole story... :-/ And the thing that he spends month on finding the raisin and it's all wasted, means kind of wasted reading-time... So try to make it all have a meaning in the story or else.,... dunno... IT's gonna feel a bit meh-meh...

But i like the sound of the plot though..

Well yeah, I considered leaving a surprise ending, but I wanted to see what you guys would think :) And the journey to the Raisin isn't all wasted (Something I forgot to mention), the Raisin tells Sami that "A weakness is always where you would not expect". And I guess it all goes uphill from then on.
