Any Starcraft fans out there?
 

Are there any big fans of Starcraft on these forums. I have Starcraft: Brood wars and I started playing again today. I love it. I know it's an old game but the gameplay is awesome.

Yeah I've got brood wars too. I still play it every now and then, not too often though. Despite it's age, it's still a great game.

I've never played Starcraft but I've got Warcraft 3 TFT.

I could pretty much say "ditto" :D I hardly ever play it now, but I still think it's a good game. I used to love making weird maps for it... And then I found out how to mod it. :crafty: Ah, the good old days :p

Yep, I used to play alot of Starcraft in the old days. That was because it was the best my computer could handle. Now I have an Xbox and an Xbox 360. But the disk is still in the tray :D.

Cool. What's your favourite race? And can someone please explain what the marine stim packs are for?

I havn't played it in a while but if I remember correctly, they strengthen the Marine at the expense of health. So everytime you activate the stim pack, the marine will lose health but he will be stronger (as in attack strength) for a certain amount of time.

Don't worry. I looked on the starcraft web page and it says it increases their speed and range a lot at the cost of 10 health

Used to play alot of toss, I even got the speeds-mine thing right, you know, select all miners, move them to mineral field, select Nexus, build Probe, and then split the miners up to 4 diff mineral fiels, before one of them has reached the 1st mineral field.

But everytime I had my gateway up and running, I couldn't decide what to do next. Goons? Dark Templar? Reaver drop? ANd that cost me valuable time.

I play Starcraft! Think it's the funnest game besides Halo.
Hell, I have's it installed!
But the damn thing won't work...
Damn computer restrictions...
