WHO IS BETTER???

Perhaps you should give an 'indifferent' option. Because a lot of people like them both evenly.

But just to stay legit..........I like both of them equally.

I like both in general but whom do I pefer is Abe. Although Abe is constantly made fun off for being stupid. But Abe the all time hero. Through that he is repected.

Munch on the older hand gets on my nerves. His speech. Maybe Exodus will show more of his character. He seems a bit stupid. Like 'I never thought about it' Catchy, good but doesnt want Abe's help(?) And 'Im coming back'

Yet again I am going to continue to emphasie that Munch's Oddysee was rushed and the story did not turn out to what I expected. But I did like the idea from the Oddworld Art Book. Jekell and Hyde idea. Pity they scraped it.

I like them both but I like Abe more. So yea....

I like both Abe and Munch a good deal, probably equally. They both have their own certain....charm, shall we say. But since Abe was the first, I'll go with him. The original sets the trend for the rest, so for that Abe gets my vote. But Sekto's right, there should be an 'indifferent/equal' option.

When Abe was designed, OWI was well aware of the technical contrained, and produced a 2D flick-screen platformer to a celestial standard.

Production on Munch started sometime before AO and AE where even released, and Sony and Microsoft prmised great things with their PS2 and Xbox. Of, course, they couldn't quite hold the game, so MO was crippled from the start.

Odd help the console that powers Squeek's Oddysee.

I liked Munch just fine but Abe is definitely my favorite of the two.

As much as we all may love Munch, Abe has been with us for longer. Also he has a fun time doing what he does while Munch seems a bit stuck up… Plus Munch only has one leg.

They're both cool but it was Abe that initially inspired me (and all of us) - so he gets my vote, the lovable chump!

However I've never played MO so I might like him better...maybe...maybe not.

I like them both equally. They both have their own desirable traits. However, I have not played Munch's Oddysee, so I don't know Munch that well.

Don't worry, your not missing out on much. MO sucked.

It's not just Munch, it's the whole game. It was realy fakey.

well MO was still much better than many games released at that time.

Abe is so much better then Munch.

Abe, he's the first oddworldian main character, his game wasn't a failure (not saying MO was..but it wasn't as good as lorne wanted it to be), he's a poor smuchk, and you just have to love his voice. :)
he looks perfect for his role too, lol.
Munch however, He's cool, but not as good as abe IMO. he's annoying to play as too IMO :( if only he could become "roid" lol.
