Use Your Imagination Question

Ok, does anyone know what singer or band sings the song Use Your Imagination, and what CD it is on?

P.S. I don't know if this is the right section to put this topic under, so if it isn't, please move it. :) Thanks.

pongyboy 04-12-2006 12:25 PM

I'm sorry I don't know if you can buy it as a CD. but mabey i'm wrong!

Xavier 04-12-2006 12:41 PM

I have the CD... twice
it was done by E-Pac feat. Jean Beauvoir
http://www.jeanbeauvoir.com/albums.html

Marco the Glukkon 04-13-2006 05:38 AM

Can the song be put onto a CD? I am making a CD to listen to by putting a bunch of songs on there and I wanted "Get Freaky" and "Use Your Imagination" on it. Is there anyway to download those songs onto a disk, or is that illegal?

Xavier 04-13-2006 08:40 AM

this thing was only released on a single and I'm not sure it's still available...
but it will probably be available on TOL

you can try to get via here: http://www.amazon.de/exec/obidos/ASI...517212-8202612

Marco the Glukkon 04-13-2006 09:26 AM

What do you mean by TOL?

Xavier 04-13-2006 09:31 AM

Marco the Glukkon 04-13-2006 09:33 AM

Awesome! Just one more question. Is there any way to take the music video and put it on a disk so that when you put it on the CD player it will play the song even with no video?

Xavier 04-13-2006 09:38 AM

you could use a program to record the music of the video and then transfer the audio file to a cd... but I'm not an expert for those kind of thigs

Ninjaxe 04-13-2006 11:13 AM

Nope! But I recognise the lyrics from somewhere

Mr Boom, but it probably a british kiddies programme that never reach America. "Use you imagination to jump over moon over the moon"

Oh another thing...What is this to do with oddworld...? Shouldnt this be Zulag 2 Off topic disscussion?

Marco the Glukkon 04-13-2006 12:12 PM

Yeah I know, thats why I said P.S. move this if it isnt in the right part of the forum or topic lol. That's ok though. Yeah if you need to move it go ahead.

Wil 04-13-2006 03:37 PM

Huh? Of course this is about Oddworld. What plane are you on?

Marco, you could record the music from the video, but it'd be easier if you just used the music file that already exists on the single.

For putting the music on your own CD, there aren't any legal restrictions so long as it's for your personal use.

Sekto Springs 04-13-2006 05:22 PM

Anyone here listen to it sped up? The helium voices sound great.

Xavier 04-14-2006 02:16 AM

what do you mean SS?
do you suggest the original voices are actually slowerded helium voices :p?

Sekto Springs 04-14-2006 09:26 AM

No. I'm saying speeding it up doesn't reduce the quality of the music at all, and it's just more fun to listen to. :p

Nate 04-15-2006 07:00 AM

Surely you could say that about any piece of music?

I know I used to enjoy listening to the soundtrack of The Phantom of the Opera (London premiere production) at double speed. But then, I used to do many strange things as an 11 year old.

Wil 04-15-2006 10:28 AM

Careful. Andrew Lloyd Webber productions and Sekto Springs don't mix together particularly well. But now we're venturing further and further from relevance.

Nate 04-15-2006 11:14 PM

True, and I was quite consciously helping that along.:p

Sekto Springs 04-15-2006 11:18 PM

Nice try, Nate. But your attempts to get me banned will go unheeded!

Tropical Abe 02-11-2007 10:05 AM

If anyone knows who WROTE the song (not who performed it, because I know that; but who WROTE it, I mean, lyrics by... music by...), please inform me, because I put the song on my WMP 11 and it's asking me for "composer/songwriter". Any ideas?

Arxryl 02-11-2007 10:20 AM

I still think it is the same person who sings the song. Not sure exactly, but it usually is.

Wil 02-11-2007 01:03 PM

‘Use Yur Imagination’ was written by Jean Beauvoir, Antonio Nunzio Catania, Addo Casper, and Victor Seuwen.

Sorry I'm so late in the conversation, but I started looking at this thread and... Anyway, it's definetly possible to get both "Get Freaky" and "Use yur Imagination" burned on a CD. I should know as I have done it. If you have Limewire, search Get Freaky, artist Music Instructor, Genre Dance/Hiphop. Do the same for use yur imagination.

Jordan 02-12-2007 08:41 AM

I've got Get Freaky on CD. You can pick it up off Amazon or eBay really cheap, there's really no need to burn. But Use Yur Imagination, I dunno if they have a CD or not.

Mojo 02-12-2007 09:12 AM

I remember you could download if from Oddworld.com long ago...

Xavier 02-12-2007 09:17 AM

We are planning to bring it to you via TOL...
One day, when we find some time to do the audio part of our site

It is possible to do this because I have done it. If you put it on a CD player you'll just hear the songs. However, put it on your computer, and you'll hear the music and watch the video.

Sorry for double posting guys, but you still can. That's how I found out about the songs.

Where? I had to download the video first, then take the audio from it, open in Sound Forge 8, save as .wav, then use RazorLame to make a .mp3. Is there a direct-download link?
