OWF, meet Wired.

Hello! Im so excited finally to join OddWorld Forums! it seems creepy but I’ve been watching for a couple months. i personally cannot afford any game system and games but thats where my friends come in. I play on their consoles a lot. One day, I played Stranger’s wrath, finding the game very fun. I wanted to learn more about it so i did some searching and stumbled on this site. Oddworld Forums sounds so fun though i play none of the games on a regular basis. rarely, in fact. pretty much, your off-topic area attracts me the most. the debates are so controversial and lurring!

My home country is Ukraine but my mother and Yeva, her girlfriend at the time and now wife thanks to new law, moved to England about three years ago because of political unrest. This is whree my mother is from. if you like, call me Claude.

Rich 03-17-2006 02:20 PM

Hey, welcome to OWF, you seem a decent sort.

Any problems just ask one of the staff. :)

I agree with Rich, you do seem nice. Welcome!

Wired 03-17-2006 03:06 PM

Thank you guys. i'm looking forward to spending time here.

oddveteran93 03-17-2006 08:23 PM

Thanks for joining! You'll have a lot of fun here and probably make some friends. And also, thanks for making a nice introduction thread!

Hello, Chum! Welcome to the OWF! And have you played any of the other OW games?

Dipstikk 03-17-2006 10:45 PM

Welcome to the forums!

Alcar 03-17-2006 11:24 PM

Lesbians. Ugh.

Alcar...

No, i'm afraid I havent. The gaming industry in the Ukraine isn't like it is here so i never really played computer games at all and now i'm in the uk all my friends have newer consoles and the old games are hard to find.
And like i said i cant afford to buy the games and consoles myself.

And alcar, whats wrong with having lesbian parents? id prefer it if you didnt judge me based on prejudice of my family

used:) 03-18-2006 08:14 AM

Don't sweat it, I am sure Alcar was joking (I hope).

Even so, Alcar, I've already had to clean up the seaman stains EIGHT times in the last week, don't do it again!

AquaticAmbi 03-18-2006 08:23 AM

Yeah, that's just Alcar's weird sense of humor. Most members' humor around here is pretty strange, including my own sometimes; you'll get used to it if you stick around.

So your parents are married now? That's great! I do wish America weren't so backwards on the issue.

Welcome aboard!

It doesn't matter if you only have SW. You don't really need the others to understand. ;)

Scrab Watcher 03-18-2006 09:20 AM

Creepy? Us? Naaaw...and Alcar's kidding, don't worry. Like Ambi said, most people around here have a strange sense of humour. You'll grow to love it eventually. And you seem nice. Enjoy your stay!

I know, I keep telling him not to take in those dirty seamen, but Alcar just loves to hear sailor stories.

*rimshot*

Ah, spelling jokes.

AquaticAmbi 03-18-2006 10:51 AM

Bwaha!

Oh, oh... Wired, maybe you can be of some use in the 'Should homosexuals be allowed to adopt' thread. Were you adopted by your gay parents? Or is one your biological mom? Either way, you could probably contribute stuff from your own experience. ^_^

Wired 03-18-2006 12:07 PM

LOL, semean are funny!! Grand wordplay, ol' chap.

yea one is my bio mother AA. pleese dont judge her, she had a one night stand in Ukraine when she was doing business there. shes a holiday rep. She met a Ukrainian fellow in a bar and got drunk and found her self pregant later.someday I hope to my father.

Togehter they both raised me tho, my mother and Yeva

Splat 03-18-2006 12:57 PM

Ah, what are the odds of such a controversial thing in a WELCOME THREAD where it has absolutely no use to the post count?
well done Wired, that's something we defiantely don't see every day!

Oh, and don't listen to a word Biggy Bro Slig says. For more information, look under the OWF health and safety guide, under "Don't listen to a word Biggy Bro Slig says." Don't confuse hm with Big Bro Boogie, he's perfectly safe (except when he's upside down, that was an unpleasent evening).

The previous comment didn't make sense and can therefore be discounted from future discussion.

What's Ukraine like at this (or any other) time of year? Did you guys win Eurovision a few years ago or am I just going crazy (quite probable).

Ukraine is quite nice this time of year. Quite cold but that's how I like it :). It's a shame I'm living in England now. England's a nice place but the weather sucks arse :p.

Yeah Ukraine won the Eurovision back in 2004, only the second time we'd been in the Eurovision too. You wouldn't believe how much celebrating there was! :D.

Good Ol' Ruslana. The leather she was wearing wasn't too bad either ;).

Oye, welcome to these forums, Claued. Hope you'll have a great time here.
