Do you think the next oddworld game should be about Abe, Munch or Stranger? Be honest. And no smart remarks saying "The next one coming out is..." and nothing about the movie.

I don't think there are gonna be any more games.... But if there was to be one, i think it would be Stranger

I'm a sucker for Abe. I would happily play all 5 quintology games if they all featured him. :)

I'd like to see a Munch's Exoddus that wraps up all of the storylines cut from the Oddysee. Beyond that, the next game in the quintology.

But, I would like to see another of Munch and/or Abe, 'cause...well, I'd like to see 'em more.
But, I'd be a little, and I mean a fraction, if there was a new character, such as Fangus Klot, which will rest in peace for now.
Yeah, I'd go fer Stranger, nothin' more. (It was really left in a cliffy, when the Queen of the Grubbs didn't reply to Stranger's questions about the path, and crap like that)

I would like to see stranger. I enjoyed his game the most and would like the sequel.

Abe all the way , his games were the best ones , a real classical experience.

They should also release a game with a glukkon as the main character , that would be sweet.

I would like Abe in an oddworld war (Hand of Odd?). It would be so cool if you could command muds into deathtraps!

On the other hand I don't know what's in Lorne's head.

The question in my mind is that if they release an Abe movie first, and Lorne has said that future games would likely be released in conjunction with movies, what would they release?

I'm thinking that they would rerelease AO and AE as a bundle pack (if they can regain the publishing rights), possibly with Sligstorm as originally planned (though I doubt it).

The real reason I've voted for Stranger, is that I've never played the two beginning games of Oddworld.
I mean, yeah, I played Munch's Oddysee, and the GB game of Oddworld adventures, but not the real dough. Not Abe's Oddysee or Abe's Exxodus.

They should make like Oddwrold: the lost chapters with Sligstorm, Hand of Odd, Squeek's Oddysee and so on

I hope they pick up on either Abe's story line or continue with Stranger but they shouldn't keep making up new story lines. It's like me and fan fictions. I start one, leave it, start another, leave it again and start another one. It's not very pleasing, and allthough I hope Lorne is smarter then this, I still have the bad feeling he's going to make up yet another story line for the upcoming movie :(.

I think that they would create a new character if this is supposed to be the next big Oddworld game. It seems like when they unvail a big new part of Oddworld they need a big new character to go with it. But with the increasing action throughout the games I would think that Abe and Munch be along to help.

Perhaps, the storylines will meet up and end toghether making a lot of sense.

Well, if picking out of Abe, Munch and Stranger...

it'd make more sense to make another Abe game if you're pitching to the publisher...seeing as Abe was the most successful oddworld character.
Sadly Munch and Stranger didn't do so well. Stranger did even worse than MO in sales...which really isn't fair since Stranger was a superior game.

Can I say Abe OR Stranger? They're both good characters (Munch just seems like....Bleh.) and I would like a game to have either one of them.

It depheds... If the Abe movie is successful, a game for him. If they are making a movie with OWM, then a new character. It's a hard choice. Maybe since SW made himself a sequel, a game for him. It's a hard decision.

Well, I just hope that the movie's gonna be the old AO storyline. That was my favorite. Well, If they made a new game, it would have to be a new guy because they said they were going to work on Fangus until they cancelled another one of their 5 or 6 cancelled games. I'm so glad Fangus didn't come out. Humans and oddworld don't match. SO yeah, i'm saying the new guy will kick th' butt, even though no one unless the movie has kick buttness.

Ahem. Of course, you bloody idiot. Lorne even said for a little while that he was in discussion with EA for a sequel to Stranger. He knew that Stranger was the most marketable character OWI have at the moment.

Don't forget Munch was an Xbox launch game, so it got a lot more advertising and there was less competition.

I'd like to see a new character, but not Fangus, the concepts for that looked too...earthy. Not a good OW atmosphere.

Though, I'm going to make fan games, and bring Hand of Odd into reality. It'll take a while
