alf is on sabbatical, a break, a vacation, leave, furlough. is he ever going to come back? Looking through some of the acrhives he does lets out alot of information..how long has he been away for that matter?

Until OWI releases their new project. Thats not a full, exact answer. It may take a while to figure out when he's coming back

Alf has been gone for almost a year if I could remember. Since OWI moved from their original studios they have scatterd across the industry, leaving only the founders and CEO of OWI. But the lastest update on news shows Raymond Swanland still working with OWI, I may think there is more inhabitants with Lorne now that they are working with a movie.
But I don't Alf will come for a while, I mean you can still tell that there is still no web master for oddworld.com, becuase there has been no updates since ages.

Until OWI want to communicate with the fans anything about the movie, there's not really any need for the Alf personna to exist, so it's not their priority. I would much rather just sit and wait patiently for a project to be completed than worry about a relatively small thing that will detract OWI's efforts on the film.

I'm not sure wether it for or with.

Well my guess is he's doing something with the visuals or story boarding, so my guess is with them. I think he is working along side with the team.

Except that he would be an employee, which would make it for. Personally, I can't believe we're discussing such minutiae. Lorne said way back when OWI was restructured that he was keeping the design team to help him with future projects.

the core of the design team was kept, so not every artist is still working for OWI, I know most of their artists aren't working for them anymore.
