Havoc 02-18-2006 05:27 PM

I would hate drowning. Thats my biggest fear.

outlaw king 02-18-2006 05:31 PM

Some documentry said drowning was the most peaceful way to die . Id still hate it though!

Kimon 02-18-2006 06:07 PM

Well thats downright bullshit, because being without air for a minute before passing out isn't my idea of peacefull. Peacefull is falling to sleep and dying, or shooting yourself.

Or my idea idea of dying: Being ripped to shreds by a tiger :P

used:) 02-18-2006 06:53 PM

I fear and hate all stinging or biting bugs. Except bees, I can't go a day without that good ol' honey. :lick:

I also fear nuclear war.

Havoc 02-18-2006 07:00 PM

Nuclear war will own, as long as it's between America and Russia or something :P.

oddveteran93 02-18-2006 07:11 PM

I fear the unknown, like what happenes after you die and stuff lke that. Also getting probed by aliens, it just aint right.

Hot chik sexual assault terrorism attacks! ( or hcsata )

CheeseOfGlory 02-18-2006 08:09 PM

outlaw king 02-18-2006 10:13 PM

Dancing Steef 02-18-2006 11:45 PM

I'm afraid of spiders, not small ones but the large ones... even if we don't have any dangerous spieces here in Sweden then I still give them respect. I'm also afraid of heights and too small rooms:fuzemb:

That's bullhonkey! Think about it, you're underwater holding your breath for as long as you can. When you're getting to the maximum amount of time you can hold your breath, you try and hold it for slightly longer to prolong your life for just that little bit longer. Up to a minute later you instinctively try to breathe in. Water rushes into your lungs. Your body detects that it shouldn't be there. You try to cough and get all the water out of your lungs but it doesn't work. The more you cough and get some water out, you have to breath back in again.
At this time you would be panicking, trying to get out but with little or no energy to move. Your last moments wouldn't be filled with peaceful thoughts but filled with fruitless attempts to get the litres of water out of your lungs. Coughing and spluttering. Until, finally, your body can't take any more without oxygen and you pass out.

After all that... my greatest fear is probably heights. It's not really a fear as such, just that if I'm ever up high (even on a small wall) and on the edge of something, I feel like I'm going to fall.

Annouka-BadCat 02-19-2006 12:15 AM

Um... mine is probably deep water because I'm not a strong swimmer and panic like hell if I can't feel the bottom >_< Good odd, I'm such a wuss.
I'm overly terrified of fluttering bugs like butterflies, moths, and also wasps... wasps are totally unecessary, they serve no purpose!
And partially see-through bridges. Any bridge were I can see the great long distance between it and the ground through it always make me feel like it's going to give way. Even if its made of unbreakable bullet proof glass reinforced with titanium and tungstun...

oddveteran93 02-19-2006 12:20 AM

I love moths. For some reason they keep finding a way into my house...

snoozer 02-19-2006 12:31 AM

I don't know how they do it, but one minute there's none of them, then the second all the doors and windows are locked there's loads inside, damn them.

I hate small spiders. Because you can't tell what their thinking. I've held turantulars and all sorts, but if you think you can get me to hold a Garden Spider, then you've got another thing coming.

But out of em all, my worst fear is the dark. I hate being upstairs on my own in the dark, I hate walking the dog on my own if it's dark. I hate the Dark. It terrifies me.

I hate small spiders too, but they're not a big threat to me. The small spiders in Sweden or all spiders aren't venomous though which is good, cause ya don't have to look after them before yer going to bed. If they were venomous then you might had to. I saw a program on animal planet once that was about spiders and one of the owners of the house had found a black widow in her bed... :eek:freaky if ya ask me.

:D wasps are pure evil, I'm sure.

Fuzzleman54321 02-19-2006 08:27 AM

Drowing and Spiders. Also, being stabbed to death *shudders*

Rich 02-19-2006 08:53 AM

Spiders and the thought of losing Olly.

Daxter King 02-19-2006 09:41 AM

I fear cockroaches the way they just sit there staring at you when you turn around there crawling up your leg!

AquaticAmbi 02-19-2006 09:50 AM

Like Rich, the thought of losing the love of my life. *Luke clingy*

Other than that, slowly burned to death or fire are up there. But if I were to die in the ocean, such as a scuba diving accident, at least I'd die doing something that made me happy rather than suffering from something awful like cancer.

Cancer and other long term, terminal illnesses... those definitely get a worst fear title. But as some poet/author/some lady said, to die over a long period of time can be a blessing. It means lots of time to reflect over the happy times and really appreciate your last days.

Honestly, overall, I fear dying young in general. To have spent so long dreaming of a better future for myself, to have suffered the things I suffered as a child, and for all my hard work to overcome those things to mean nothing... The thought is nearly unbearable.

In relation to dying early, I fear the possibilities of it resulting from a random act of violence or a car accident.

Awwww. I love you too.

Same here. Except not spiders. Or the thought of losing myself.... You get the drift.

I t'ink I said 'dis before?
Wow, looks like a lot'a people dun' like Spiders.
Well, I'm the biggest aracnaphobic 'round 'ere.
No matter how big, small, hairy, fangy, crawly, long-legged the bastards are, I scream.
Even at mosquito hawks! They're like daddy long-legs, with wings!

Nate 02-19-2006 11:24 AM

I used to be absolutely petrified of snakes. I wouldn't go near one even if I knew it wasn't harmful. But this last summer I worked at a camp that had a couple of snakes in the Nature Hut and I purposefully played with them to get over my phobia. Now I think they're cool-arama.

Snakes roc!
I wanted a pet snake when I was young, when my neighbor had one, and wanted to see it each day.
:Sigh:
It'd be better than having a crawling hairball with eight legs, or a pack of feathers...
