Can I have a describation of this game please? Is this a sequel?

HEE HEE , sorry guys , im a bit simple . I myself didnt find driver 3 to be a bad title , but there were some very notable glitches , some that just made me feel like killing myself:banghead: . But there were some great classical cars in there!
I think this one should be better!

I'd have to agree with outlaw king (Oh god no!), I don't think Driver 3 was all that bad. Unless it's on Xbox 360 or Xbox and is back compatible, I'm probably not going to play Parallel Lines.

I haven't bought Driver 3, I don't why, when I even had a chance in the past to buy a game. The reviews say it's bad, which was suprising, becuase from the facts I could tell it's basicly additions to the prevous games in terns of gameplay. Driver 4 could make up for the dissapointment of the last driver game.

I've lost all interest in the Driver series (unfortunate but true) Driver 3 did not deliver, and I think tried hard to emulate the popularity in some regard of Grand theft Auto and just couldn't be up to par. It looked nice but had too many problems that took away from the fun element.

nicely put there Al . I would have to now agree , i just brought driver 3 on trademe and the whole game feels " unfinished " . The locations and the vehicles are great however!

Well , atari agreed the last driver game was crap , and have deleted all traces of driver 3 in this new game . I dont know if i entirely trust them however

No, I don't. As the Atari I knew and loved was bought out and now is just a name, nothing else.

Atari, I belive made some prettey good orginal games. Brings back memories. *sniff* But now they're making crappy games. Ugh.

Being how I am I will try and judge this new driver whenever it is released, as a separate entity, and if it can give a good performance and deliver an overall polished and fun game then more power to it. Otherwise I'm looking forward to the next gen GTA 4 which will be using actual photo realistic cities etc as a basis and will probably be a helluva lot of fun.
