If you're referring to the thread's title, it was only meant as a joke. I don't think anyone here thinks that all sex offenders are rapists.

Creepy stuffs. We've never received any notices, but I know of at least one guy in my area--only from a personal experience, which I shall now share.

About two years ago, my friends Sarah and Chelsea were driving somewhere when they approached a stop sign. At the stop sign, a white truck was in front of them and strangely parked. The driver motioned my friends to go around, so Chelsea pulled her car up in the other lane carefully. When the two vehicles were side-by-side, a fat man got out, dropped his pants and started masturbating! Making the matter worse, Chelsea's car is a tiny sports car, low to the ground; his junk was right in the window of Sarah! So they sped off... Same thing happened to my friend Geneva, but she contacted the police. I don't think they found him that day.

Last school year (a year after this happened to my friends), my mom was driving me to school, and we approached a stop sign near the one I previously mentioned. A white truck. Driver motions us to go around... It suddenly hit me. But it was too late and my mom was pulling up, and for some reason, I couldn't get out a complete sentence. I turned away my eyes when I saw him step out, but my poor mom looked over to see what I was trying to say and saw nasty nastiness.

I told a few people about it, and some said they heard he had been caught. Whether that was before or after it happened to me, I don't know.

Jesus this is stupid.

1. These sites/this attitude toward sex offenders does nothing other than inspire hate crimes toward said sex offenders.
2. The definition of "sex offender" is a VERY loose term, and I gaurantee you that whatever ideas you might have about what constitutes a sex offender aren't anywhere near the legal definition.
3. Making posts that consist of "hahaha" or hundreds of emoticons isn't cool.
4. Rich should know better than to set such a bad example for others to follow.
5. Writing things in lists makes me feel like a big man.

Christ on a cracker. First off, the primary purpose of the site is to let families know if there are REGISTERED, CONVICTED SEX OFFENDERS in their immediate area. In other words, these are sex offenders who have been caught and, according to the legal definitions set by the US, have been deemed sex offenders. It sounds like you think that these maps are just a random peppering of points designating people who may or may not be sex offenders. No. These people have been arrested, registered, and are listed according to their crimes. It doesn't seem like you even looked at the website.

Secondly, if anything, I was posting this out of the sheer absurdity of being able to look up people on a map of the US, but mostly because it's just a neat little web site that I thought I would share with everyone (or at least the Americans). And for the record, I know that a lot of the sexual misconduct laws here are a load of bull shit, but that doesn't mean I can't have a little fun and post something like this.

No one here is inciting hatred toward sex offenders, and I don't know where the hell you're getting all this shit, with the exception of number three, which is true.
