please help in Scrabanian Temple
I'm stuck on the first secret screen .the purple one. Any suggestions?

What exactly is the purple thing? Do you mean the secret where there is an unactivatied green, red bomb and the slig is pacing between the shadows?

If I remember correctly, this was one of the most difficult in the game. Is it the one where you have to possess a slig then shoot slogs coming at you from the left and right?

Actully, I found it hard to surive the secret and the actual part of the level in one piece hard. I mysteriously found a way to get past the secret without having to kill all the slogs too. *grins*

Oh, yes. This one is tricky. The trick is that you drop down when the slig isn't looking. When he comes back, sneak with him to the next shadow. Be careful on the next part. When the slig paces the other way, sneak to the bomb and deactivate it and go into the shadow without the slig knowing. Next, sneak with him back to the ledge and get up and possess. Next, as the slig, be exactly in the middle to shoot the slogs from all directions. Possess the other slig when your done, kill him, and save the other mudokon. oh yeah and does anyone know how many slogs there are? I did what slaveless told me to but I can only get about 5 from each side.

OK, heres an alternetive. If the slig dies, you can go back as Abe. Activate the Abe bird portal and walk into the other screen. The slog should be on the other side of the room. Wait til the slig makes a noise and run to the left, since the slog has your attention. Run jump onto the platform and then run jump off the platform. The slog is too dumb to chase to the next screen, so possess the other slig to kill that slog. At least try to finish off the other slogs. When you can, save the mudokons. If you can't, go up on the platform to avoid the slog. Next, Run jump off the platform to repeat the same process. This next part is tricky. You have to jump over the slog to get into the bird portal. This may be difficult. Hope this helps. ;)

Okay I finally got it and now it seems like, so easy!! Here's what I did:
I possessed the sligh in screen 1 and ran him into the bomb. I don't need him anyway. Then I snuck into the next screen really quick and came back and chanted to activate the portal. Then I walked into screen 2 and the slog ran out. I ran for it to screen 1 and ran-jumped onto the platform. Then I jumped off over the slog and into screen 2. The slog got stuck in the first screen. I chanted to possess the slig and with the slig, shot the slog in screen 1. Then I barely stepped into screen 2 and let the slog eat my slig.' With abe, I got up onto the patform and chanted to rescue the guys. As I finished chanting, the slog ran out. I jumped off the ramp over the slog and dashed across to screen 1 and ran into the portal. Easy! Imagine my frustration after doing it the first time and getting shot down by the slig...But I told myself, "You've done it six times, you can do it again." |
This should be under the Glitch topic too. I mean, the slog is stuck and you can't control it with a slig!
