I this Lorne or? It doesn't look like him...

I was jus' surfing the web and found this:

http://www.igda.org/pics/pic_091405.jpg

When I saw this pic then I first thought "Is this Lorne?" what has he done with his mustache, his beard n' his hair?:crying: he looked so awsome before he got his haircut... I don't know if this pic was taken before he let his hair grow or after the haircut:fuzconf:

Well what do ya guys think 'bout this?

that's the last picture we saw of him I believe
it was at his talk titled “In a Wal-Mart World, Creativity is a Dirty Word" for IGDA

And because he is slightly retarded you can see him with his "evil" contacts in. What a rebel.

Oddish 01-31-2006 10:24 AM

He'll probably grow his facial hair, but I think he should grow his hair long again, it looks cool.

Kamille 01-31-2006 10:26 AM

maybe he feels hes to old to be a wild man

Nate 01-31-2006 04:44 PM

The only difference in this picture to any other from the Stranger-promoting period is that he has a patch of white in his hair. Very distinguished.

But, personally, I think the forums have hit a new low when people care about Lorne's physical appearance.

Does Lorne really wear contact lenses??

Yeah that's what I meant to - he looks real handsome with that hairdo:D:p

Maybe he does or he might have been thinking "I'm looking nuts in this hairdo, better fix it..." I don't know if he had thought that but that was maybe one reason why he cut it all of.

Anyhow I found another pic of him - when he got his mustache and part of his beard, but he still gots his "new" hairdo.

I prefered the long haired lorne ;)

anyway it isn't a new attitude to care about lorne himself. I remember some years ago there were a bunch of people willing to create and join an Lorne Lanning official fan club ;)

OANST 02-01-2006 05:44 AM

Yeah, but people are discussing whether or not he should grow his hair back. That's just creepy.

I agree this topic isn't realy intresting... but do what people do with topics that doesn't interest them.
Ignore it

Kamille 02-01-2006 10:50 AM

thats what he looked like on icons with the long hair, do you guys think its kind of weird for a guy to talk about this

OANST 02-01-2006 10:58 AM

Yes. And Xavier, this topic does interest me. I am always interested in just how creepy people can be.

monkeybait 02-03-2006 08:34 PM

I preffer the shorter hair.. with the stache.....

is it a bad thing when your farts contain more liquid than air?

:shudders:
Oh...
My...
GOD! HE SHAVED HIS 'STACHE!
NOOOOOOO!!! :crying:
He looked better with a mustache, beard, and long hair.
Almost a hippy-type character...

Scrab Watcher 02-04-2006 09:22 AM

You know, at this stage, if I were him, I'd be checking the local barbers for hidden cameras. Installed by Oddworld fans, just waiting to see what he does to his hair next...>_> This topic is bordering on obsessive. :D

On a random note, I like long hair. This probably has something to do with my singer-songwriter Papa and most of my above-the-average-intelligence male friends having long hair, causing me to associate it with coolness, but hey.

Steefie 02-04-2006 10:19 PM

I think Lorne looked a bit like a hippy-pot-smoker witht he long hair and goatie... and it suited him better than this... other... hair doo.

Dark Elite_H2 02-05-2006 04:07 AM

Aww...you can't just look at 'im and laugh?
It kind'a did ter me...
Then again...
:crying:
He looked so good with his 'stache and beard! (w/ or w/o his long hippy-like hair)

Don't EVEN start with it!

It seems that I have been missing out on a very cool thread.
I like Lorne's hair either way, he look good either way.
As for the people whom said that it is wierd to talk about how Mr. Lanning's hair looks, I disagree. He is the Creator of ODD. Why not talk about his hair?

Yes yes, Cullen. We must appease the Lord Lanning, or he might not give us a good crop harvist this year.

Wil 02-05-2006 01:05 PM

Because Lorne should be able to modify his body in any way he chooses without people he doesn't know feeling compelled to comment on those choices?

Nate 02-05-2006 01:19 PM

And his physical appearance does not affect his work. It would be like criticising Einstein for having his 'explosion' hair.

Dark Elite_H2 02-05-2006 01:28 PM

How 'bout we all just praise his new look?
(although it makes me mad that his 'stache is gone...it made him the 'Lorne' we all knew!)

LoboDiabloLoneWolf 02-05-2006 01:40 PM

For some reason I don't think it's really his hair we're taking about, well yes, it is...but I think the issue here is familiarity. I mean, we've always seen Lorne with with long hair and a mustache and now that he's suddenly changed it, we're all like; 'Whoa, what's this!?'

People don't like change, makes them wonder what else is going to change...and now that I've gone waaaay too deep, I think I'll leave...

PS. He's looks great either way...:D

Wha'd'ya mean!?
:Looks back to picture:
He looks like my dad with smoother skin and grey hair!

Joe the Glukkon 02-05-2006 04:59 PM

lol I think he looks good. but I prefer the old lorne.

OANST 02-05-2006 05:17 PM

Tonight on E! Forumers debate Lorne Lanning's sense of fashion. They are going to dig deep and give him the kind of criticism that will either make or break you in this town. So stay tuned!

Xavier 02-06-2006 02:37 AM

yes this reminds me about that guy analysing our behaviors on this forum...
I'd love to see his face if he comes back and see this ;)

Lorne is regarded as an incredibly handsome guy. If your dad looks like him, you stand to inherit some lovely genes. ;)
