If Lorne asked you for money what would you do?
 

Sorry about not posting this as a thread but I think It would work beter as a poll. If Lorne Lanning posted a message to this entire forum asking for each member to pay him 15$ to re-fund OWI so he'd start making games again would you do it?

I would give him all the money that I have.

I'd probably give some if I sure that what he made on these forums would make Oddworld resurface.

And where's there "I'd pay him less than that option?" ;)

well, i'm pretty happy with the movie idea, and my parents wouldn't let me pay anyway, but i would if i could, and as much as i could too, i think, lol..

You can use the option "No" for "I'd pay him less than that" option. Because technically you'd be paying like 5$ so that's not paying 15$. Wait... now I'm confused.

I'd definately give him some but I'd hint to him that he should give us special privileges for doing so. If nothing else, just more news on what's going on in OWI Headquarters.

Well, that would most certainly help us in finding out what's going on and what they are working on, but not much more. Not the important stuff.

One- Yes, I would. Of course. Anything to keep Oddworld going.

Two- What makes you think Lorne would ever need money from us?

I'd make a small donation, but nothing big. I need the money badly for something I want to set up myself :P.

I don't think they will need money in the near future anyway, but Oddworld still is a standalone company and they have EA just waiting for a chance to move in on them like a predator. So you never know what can happen.

I would pay him everything I got, but...I'm not the richest bitch in the US.

Of course I would donate 15 moolah to him. Thing is I only have a 50 dollar bill right now so....I would be giving him $50 instead :p.

If he made me CEO of a company and I start making my product and selling millions, I could make alot of money. With the amount of money I have from making huge amout of profit I could give him double the Moolah, becuase I'll be quite wealthy. If I gave him 15 smackers now that would be almost half of my greens gone, and then I won't be able to afford a new console (if) to play his games.

I realy doubt Lorne would get that low...
howevere anything I can do for OWI I'll do ;)

It would be nice if they would start a REAL fan club. I'd pay an annual fee if it involved news letter and cool shtuff.

I can see what you mean, not just the fan club they have now where only some get stuff , but a club with i guess $5 a month or something and that you recieve a newsletter with all the OWI news, cool stuff and maby even some more cool stuff

Well I dunno... for new equipment, or maybe if something trtagic happened and OWI was lelf with no money. I'd think this would be the place to ask because this is probably the "most official" oddworl forum.

If I knew it was going to further the creative process behind the Oddworld games, I would most certainly make a donation, albeit the size would vary depending on my the weight of my pocketbook at the time.
