The chavs are taking over my school, there so annoying becuase they think they own the place and they think they look good wearing burberry. I was outside yesterday and i felt like going to see my old mate Oliver, i walked round to his street and i see him outside with a group of chavs, all the chavs didnt know who i was so they started calling out to me and taunting, if you know how a chav mind works they dont think the one little kid will stand up to you so i just walked right up to them and told them to shut up, they just stood there and continued saying stupid stuff, i turned to walk back home and one of them threw a bottle at me, it was my mate Oliver, just becuase he wants to be in with a group he even turned on me, i hate all of the chavs now and im thinking of puting on all black to annoy them.

Firstly, you're probably going to get 'Chav? What's a chav?'.

Secondly... That's a tad bit sad. Wearing all black to annoy someone you don't know and who, in a month, you really won't care about. I'm not pro-chav, but some of the nicest people I have met are chavs.

I have quite strong feelings about this issue, firstly Rexy hun, his ex-friend threw a bottle at him, for no good reason. :p Sounds like a charming group of people to me. ;)

Friendly chavs, the sort who just like wearing shitty clothes and drinking and smoking, I'm guessing the sort Rexy knows, are ok. However, the agressive thugs who just go looking for fights and get arrested daily aren't very nice people.

But wearing black doesn't solve anything, in fact, it makes you like the chavs, trying to provoke people, just for fun, and chance to fight and cause trouble.

And probably, I've met some lovely people who just like wearing the clothes. And I've met some not so nice peoples, but they'reall generally alright when you get to know them.

Nice chavs shouldn't be chavs in all honesty, it is a mistake to be a chav. Nobody dresses like a prisoner, or a tramp... so why dress like someone who is equally as much of a menace to society if you're a decent person? The reality is that the majority of chavs are complete and total wankers, who've popularised being a complete and total wanker. Simple as.

Nothing, but chavs will assume that if you're wearing black then you're a goth, and they're antisocial, hate-filled biggots, so will therefore hate you.

I used to hate that I lived in an area filled with chavs, back in the days when everybody called them townies. Even we called ourselves townies - you were either a townie or a pikey, which is what we called goths and punks - that said, we weren't all hostile. We scorned and disliked those who were trashy and rebellious. Perhaps, then, we should reinstate the tern townie - and in doing so reminding country-dwellers that people who live in urban areas are called urbanites, not townies - for all people who follow the trends and fashions, and say chavs are the violent, antisocial sub-section of these people.
