What games give you the heeby jeebies?
Yep time to cough out your fear you experienced with a video game on with it! I myself never played RE or SH (Yes I know i'm missing out), but HELL you know what metroid freak I am. So Metroid Fusion on your first time through can really be a pants pisser. It's all because you have encounters with this thing named SA-X. The atmosphere and music, and the enemie itself becomes messed up, balistic, and HOLY CRAP that's scary feeling it. There is also in this on game named Genma Ominusha where in one game you have to fight this....Doll....Evil doll.....Evil knife wielding doll. Anyway that's a few of my momens since I actually have a lot (but your head will explode from all the metroid in it) so whats yours?

I'd have to Doom, just because the jump-out-of-the-dark kind of gameplay.
*shivers* |
Well I hate to say it ,but the only game that got me scared was king kong on xbox. I mean flying monkeys just jump out at you and you die with about 2 hits. Also sometimes there is a glitch where the enemies disapear. They will disapear and reapear right infront of your face.

Thief III. Getting catched scares the pooples outta me.
|
Hehehe... I think Amber is a tad bit scared of DoomIII. *poke*
:p Playing any of the Silent Hill games the first time through is always pretty scary, just because the atmosphere is so perfect. |
you want to know? tomb raider, yeah the old one, cause shit just pops out of no-where and you shoot like an idiot till you fall and land on spikes all because you were running and shooting at something which you thought at once was nothing, game was scary.

Doom III gets everyone with the jumpy things at least once, myes.
Back a very long time ago, when I was about 2-3, I was scared shitless by fatalities. :D But then a year later me was laughing with the rest of them. |
i bought doom 3 for $10 brand new. good deal
|
Dino Crisis 1.
At the time. I never got very far into that game... |

I used to be really scared of AvP... It was soo scary, almost like the alien movies. Really. I couldn't play as the marine soldier, because i hated those aliens. They would out from everywhere, and sencing movements with the gun's radar was just even more scary. I guess that's it'd because the atmophere from the movies was there. But even now, it's a bit scary. Just a lil bit.

I once couldn't sleep over... dun dun dun... Abe's Oddysee.
HUSH AND LET ME FINNISH MY STORY! I was around 8 years old when I first played then game (damn how time flies O.o) and it was the Demo which I was playing on a PS, 10 o clock at night, dark outside, lights out... and then I came at the Stockyards... I dunno exactly why but that first scrab down there had me completely and utterly terrified... As for other good scare moments... try playing Half Life 2 on hard mode, walking trough Ravenholm at 3 AM, with your headphones on at a rather high volume. Thats maybe the closest I ever got to actualy pissing myself... (and I never did, so puH!) |

Darkwatch. That's all I can say. Even though I liked the thought of the vamipic western theme of the game, it gave me the case of the "WHAT THE HELL!?"and scream at every cutscene of a baddy killing a person gruesomely.

Just the thought of that gave me the jibblies.
Ok, if anyone here has ever played Resident Evil 4, it's likely you've seen the Regenerados. Those things give me the jibblies. I've had trouble sleeping without my door open a crack since I first saw them.
Silent Hill 3 still scares me, even though I've beaten it 53 times (no joke). Most so-called "scary games" don't scare me. Doom 3 was highly overrated and Silent Hill 4 just disappointed me beyond reason. |

Project Zero (Fatal Frame to you Americans)
All I can say about it just.. 0_0 |

The first Resident Evil. It was scary at the time, espeacially being stranded in a creepy masion surrounded by face eating zombie dogs in a middles of a forest during night. It had tension, and that part where you need get out of the room before the walls get close enought to squish you. And the FMV's were real.

How bout Alone in the Dark? PSX game, scary as Satan herself.

The only thing that was "scary" about the first Resident Evil was the horrendous voice acting. I'm glad I never owned a PS1. :p
You masters of lockpicking. Granted, it scared the crap out of me the first and only time I actually sat down and played it. Then again, I was like... 12 or something. Ah! I nearly forgot Fatal Frame/Project Zero 2: Crimson Butterfly. Overall, I think that is the scariest game that I've ever played. It really sets you on edge, and the FPS mode in the Xbox version just makes things more unnerving. |
Some old crappy resident evil.
The silence... the loneliness.. then a zombie comes out dragging himself, bellowing like a dying chimpanzee. |
The only two game which ever really Scared me were Doom 3 and one game on the PS1 demo.
I was like, sailing a little boat through a war. But I was 4 years old or something and just knew the "I'm sailing a boat" part. So at a point, I suddenly was surrounded by 4 Huge ships which blasted me to bitsies. And with the sound that high, I scared my butcheeks together. >.< Haven't played it ever since.:p |
