Possible to make 20 grand?!
 

Hey, I have a friend who owns Stranger's Wrath, and he said that he had made 20 grand by bountying everyone he could alive and not buying anything but the absolutely neccesary (Mongo River Pass). Is this even possible? My game is being loaned to someone who wanted to try it out, so I can't try it right now. Any help would be appreciated!

Nope, not possible. Theoraticly (I think) you could get 20.000 if you saved up every single peny you have, but you can't even defeat the enemies before Mongo valley without buying upgrades, let alone the ones in Mongo Valley itself.

Besides, the 20.000 won't matter after Mongo Valley anyway, but you will see that for yourself once you clear that area.

Yeah, i've beat the game, but i've never tried to get the 20 grand.

Eh...I've tried it. Doesn't work, unless you get every single penny from the Clakkers, bounty EVERY SINGLE outlaw, boss and henchman alive, and not buying anything. Hell, even THAT won't bring you up to 20,000 moolah! I bet Lorne did that on purpose...

I've tried it, and it Does work... yea it's hell of a lot trouble to make it, but once you get the hang of it, it isn't impossible.
Never forget the crates, hidden chests, glowy green things and especially the... statue thingie "on top of the roofs"...

I tried using the cheat to get 20 grand, I got it before seeing Doc, it doesn't work.

It's not so hard to get 20 grand if you just go through the game methodically and carefully. Bagging all the Outlaws alive is the biggest source of income, but check for stores of cash and don't forget Beek's farm, either. A lot of the upgrades aren't even necessary - you don't need binocs or attractors or boosters or clip extenders. The only reloader I recommend is the Thudslug one just because Packrat Palooka is such a tough boss to get alive. The Mongo River Pass is free.

I've done it. And I only beat up, like, three clakkerz. I never went into a single store, didn't buy anything, ever. Not ammo, no upgrades ...
Then again, I only survived by using the immortality cheat ... but still, I guess if you're a slick enough player, it's possible to do it legitamately. The point is, you can collect 20 grand throughout the game ... if you don't buy anything.

Of course it possible, Ive done it a few times.
But no matter how much you collect before you go to see Doc, the game will still flow the same exact way.

That sucks.

It would be kinda cool if you could get the "operation". I wonder what would've happened...
