PETA killing pets? Is that such a big surprise?
 

Just thought I'd share this here to get some opinions about it.

People from the inside of the animal community knew it for sure already, and now also the rest of the world is able to see how PETA is actualy 'protecting' the animals they are supposed to be saving.
Two PETA employee's were caught dumping more then 15 dead cats, which they had just picked up at two vet clinics under the promise to find homes for them. But even before their car would leave the parking lot, the cats would already be dead.

But.... What is PETA?? And whoever they are, why is no-one doing anything about it?? :-(

PETA is a so called Animal Wellfare orginisation. But feel free to call them redical activists. PETA stands for 'People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals'.

Reason why no-one does anything, is because they make millions a year and their a very powerfull company, feared by a lot of animal related company's.

I don't get it... IF every other animal-company stick together and take PETA down, then what's the problem?

Well sorry, but if an orginisation who sets fire to test labs, pays the guy who did it 10.000 dollars, and then in turn only gets more donations without paying tax for anything, and doesn't get taken care off by the law, then it doesn't exactly help the typical American Sterotype, now does it?

So, if I got this right, they took cats from a vet and were supposed to take them to a pound or home, but killed them and shoved them in a dumpster. :confused: Surely there may be at least slight monetary value within the first option?

Yeah, I'm putting this one in the 'I don't think so' basket together with the "OMG The US CIA Are Spying On Your Computer Right Now!" thread of a week or so ago.

Anyway, stereotype? How does 'The land of opritunities' sound? Most say it in a good way, but it also goes for a bad way.
There goes on a lot of stuff in America at which I say: How the F is that even allowed to happen?! This is one them.
The citizens arn't to blame for it (except for them choosing shity politicians and worst off all: Bush) but if you look closely, America is quite shitty in multiple places.
Then again, every country has it's ups and it's downs. America just happends to have quite a few downs put into the spotlights all the time.

I would agree with you Havoc, 100%. America isnt doing to well right now. Hopefully that will change in a few more years, when we get a more intelligent and not so destructive president.

When you take into acount how young of a country we are compared to everyone else then we are far superior morally, technologically, and well, in any way you can think of.

America isn't superiour to anyone. If we're gonna talk superiourity, Europe and the like (Russia, China, ect) own America in almost every way. Europe and China produce more stuff that is shipped to America then vice versa. America is dependant on us to grow.
And Bush prolly gave away their role as biggest army in the world when he send everyone to Iraq and got half of his army killed.
And in case you don't know, America is BANKRUBT. It's living of other country's loans right now and if those country's ever shut the money flow down. It's buhbye America.
Being young isn't an excuse either you know, I dunno why you even brought that up.

But going back to the topic at hand; Watch that movie, and tell me it's not completely wrong what these people are doing and still make tens of millions each year without having to pay taxes. Tell me there isn't something COMPLETELY wrong with that...

Okay, so I just watched the video and it's been moved from the "I don't think so" basket to the "WTF was that all about" basket. I don't understand why PETA would put animals down instead of just letting vets do it.
